a great thing that becomes more obvious as the show goes on is that the environments are very dreamlike, as if they are never intended to be solid settings but a reflection of the moods and mental states of the characters. "Bakemonogatari" Does the same thing and it always allows for a huge amount of creative freedom. It very much makes it feel like a dream setting

Do we know if they are going to do the direct sequel movie?(Puella magi madoka magica the movie part 3: rebellion? Parts 1&2 are just the original 12 episodes.) I'm not sure where they could stream it in the US besides on the high seas.

most likely they will! if we take their Made in Abyss watchalong as an example, they were informed to properly watch S1 > movie > S2 so HOPEFULLY they will indeed go straight into Rebellion afterwards
