The joke is that priests are humble and reluctant to spend money on themselves, hence Sein's brother bought the cheapest sickle and bath, which are tiny.

Anna looked like she was preparing for the worst when Frieren said she was going to use her seduction technique taught to her by Flamme lol

I wonder why Flamme didn't/couldn't kill the demon king herself. She seems stronger than Frieren

She was stronger than frieren in the past but yeah frieren did get stronger than flamme by quite a bit as indicated by her absolutely gargantuan mana pool, but this is more than a thousand years after flamme's death and it still took frieren and the hero's party to take on the demon king. I think flamme was weaker than the demon king and their demon magic and trained frieren in human magic and instructed her to train for her entire life, so eventually she could defeat the demon king

I always interpreted Frieren's "aversion to her own kind" had more to do with Sein's overall reluctance to take action even though deep down he wanted go and become an adventurer. Similar to how she felt when Himmel and the others first found her. Recall that Frieren got a general sense of Sein from his little story that he told her at the beginning of the episode when he was stuck in the quicksand. And then when she finally had a chance to confront him about becoming an adventurer (post gambling incident), Frieren confirms her suspicions about why she didn't like Sein. Essentially, that part of Sein being stuck in figurative limbo reminded Frieren of her past self...which is illustrated by the flashback of Himmel and his line of "I'm talking about the present" - to give her the push that she needed. That was the core theme between Frieren and Sein. Not about Sein being an incredibly talented priest. I really don't think that Frieren has an issue with individuals of talent. Case in point is Fern...who is very talented in magic having natural precise mana control and superior casting speed. In fact, certain aspects of Fern remind Frieren of herself with regards to how they feel about magic. And we can see there just hasn't been any type of aversion to Fern from Frieren.

is that cannon? looked to me like he was trying to make sein leave of his own accord due to the inconvenience.

Sein's brother says when he brings out the tub "there's honor in poverty", and Sein replies "Isn't this going too far?"

Episode 21 of Frieren kinda gives you an answer to that. Flamme says why she wouldnt be able to defeat the demon king.

Any update on what’s going on with The Boys upload schedule? There’s been one episode in the last 19 days, doesn’t seem to have any sort of fixed slot at the moment. Even if it’s an issue of copyright stuff, would still prefer to have the full lengths..

You guys watched Film Theory?! W

God Frieren is so good!!! Any word on Apothecary Diaries? Are we waiting for some reaction to finish? I don't watch all of them so I don't know if one's finishing soon.

Are they releasing their reactions on a weekly basis or twice a week? Where can I check the schedule?

JJR10

I haven't seen a schedule and I'm relatively new...but from what I've noticed they seem to be uploading a new reaction to Frieren once a week on Friday.

charlie

it is once a week for all of their shows from my experience
