This episode was directed by the same guy who directed Mob Psycho 2x11.. Loved this one

Zenitsu

Nut Kon

I hate how this mangaka destroys tension in their battle scenes by cutting away. It is SO unsatisfying.

This episode was fucking incredible, although I usually prefer more narratively heavy episodes in anime this had me glued to my screen, definitely one of if not my favourite episode of the series so far. Loved the discussion as well.

Some people will find something to complain about no matter what I guess... Anyways I would have actually liked it if they cut away more often and have the two fights (Toji vs. Megumi, Jogo vs. Sukuna) overlap and kinda ' intersect. Maybe even interact in small ways. But I'm not complaining. Just something I though about while reading your comment.

I wasn’t very clear on my criticism. I meant cutting away at the end of the Sukuna vs. Jogo fight to show him in the afterlife, rather than finishing the fight and showing it. Gege does it routinely in the manga and it triggered me again here.

Disagree entirely. It made the fight more impactful and the dialogue more impactful. Plus it gives room to hide more of his technique, made especially obvious with the 'i wouldn't do something petty like reveal my technique'.

Aaron Griffin

To many (like me) that tension bubble pop is way more impactful than simply watching the technique fire off and watching Jogo burn
