He has been rather well behaved so far this season, being slow to act on Sara's advances, treating Elise with respect, and not even touching Elinalise when sharing the same bed together. I'd even give him a point for not having any dirty thoughts regarding Julie. Also I believe the last arc, the depressed magician arc, is volume 7 out of 26, making this somewhere between 25 - 30% of the source material.

Remember season 1 where Rudy took Sylphies clothes of without her consent? I believe this scene was intentionally showing the contrast to that with respects to how much Rudeus has grown as a person, not forcing himself upon people.
