Cyberpunk season 2 is basically just the Cyberpunk 2077 game. The anime is 1 year before the game so its a direct continuation of the story (different main character of course). The studio already announced that there will be no season 2 for the anime. The anime staff (studio trigger) got an early access of the game and took a lot of screenshot of the game for the scenes so if you go into the game, you will definitely can go to all the places that are showed in the anime including Lucy and david rooftop hangout place and there is a free dlc that connect the main character of the game to the anime's character although just a minor mission. Also if you noticed during the scene on the moon where Lucy was seeing young David, it's the exact scene when she took david to the moon back in episode 2. So people hypothesize that she recorded that moment back in episode 2 into her brain dance and played it back when she actually at the moon. Although usually they need the brain dance machine to play back the recording, its still a nice theory.
