I've got to say you're a weird one. Not trying to be rude, but that's some strange stuff you're saying here lol

?? I don't know what's weird about trying to watch new shows in a new format, the first show had horrible sickening animations ( constant flashing green lights seizure-inducing from what I remember, made me look away from the screen) that I couldn't get past ep1 alongside silly humor mob's mentor or whatever he is, reminded me of the character from breaking bad "saul" a salesman speaking bs) , and the second one didn't hook me plot-wise ep1 tho but the deal breaker was it had too much dialogue on the screen at the same time (remember this is a watch-along so I can't pause to read at my own pace, like regular react videos where I already seen the episode) and finally I said hopefully this show is a good candidate to watch in this format. Again... what's weird about that?... I truly don't get it.

the mob psycho animation is objectively fantastic... maybe you have some visual sensitivities like youre prone to seizures or something from flashing lights? also you didnt like Reigen because he reminded you of Saul... one of the best characters in the entire Breaking Bad universe? just doesnt make any sense. also yes kaguya sama does have a lot of subtitles but im a very average reader if not below average and i can keep up with the dialogue totally fine, dont let reaction formats keep you from enjoying one of the best anime of all time. your comment is weird because i have seen/read/heard of countless people's reactions and opinions to episode 1 of both mob and kaguya sama and literally not a single other person said the same things you did, both pilots are great and usually get people hooked for the entire show, where both shows are not only incredibly popular but universally enjoyed by everyone who watches them. if you like anime, you like mob psycho and kaguya sama.

so you are salty I didn't find the shows you like perfect in every way and can't take my honest review full of literal facts? it's a rare thing in today's world to find honesty so I guess I can see why that's weird for you... *Some* animations in Mobpsycho ep1 are a literal pain to watch (I would find it hard to believe I'm the only one in the world who got the same response about the visuals in ep1 whether or not you read their reviews afterward as a relevant metric of anything), the worst part of it all is I don't remember seeing an epilepsy warning prior to the episode like many other shows include, I don't recall any other show where I had problems with the visuals so I don't think it is a problem on my eye's end necessarily, this is the first show I've found where they deliberately want the audience to cringe their eyes for whatever reason. Kaguya was ok dude... just too much going on screen *sometimes* in ep1 (usually keeping track of 2 dialogues text at once is hard for me but there were cases where the 2 mcs were talking plus the narrator plus what was going on in the background, it is just too much, I don't know how else to put it, if that's average for you congrats, after repeating myself twice you still didn't get that this is not an ordinary watch method, so let me try a third time, I might've enjoyed it more if I watched the normal way at my own pace, but in these cases, I was watching for the first time alongside the full-length reactions so pausing to read subs, rewind, all these things I usually do would be a hassle cuz I have the reaction feed playing in sync on another tab (unless there's a software that allows you to sync up rewinds and pauses from 2 diff source vids, let me know). For the record, Mushoku ep1 was a success compared to the other 2 previous attempts (not a painful animation and decently-paced dialogue for the most part (I still missed some explanations about the spells and stuff))

"so you are salty I didn't find the shows you like perfect in every way" uhhh no not at all, I don't even think either pilot of the show is perfect, nor did I ever say they were. I am "salty" (according to you) because you have some of the most contrarian and unbelievable opinions on two anime's that i happen to really enjoy and have seen all of their episodes. if MP100 animation in episode one gives you actual physical pain when you watch it, you literally cannot watch I would say roughly 60-70% of the best 1,000 or so anime ever made. there is objectively nothing particularly unique or insane about mob psycho's animation that should induce any human being with real physical pain unless that human being has a medical issue.

I just googled "mob psycho seizure" let's stop playing dumb like reality is not a thing, there are others who had a similar experience with the visuals, the first result is https://imgur.com/gallery/iKapROT , ep1 had something similar to that, with the flashing lights. 2nd and 3rd result are yt videos with these painful flashing lights compilations (I scrolled down to cover most of it and see like the bottom 20% of the vid lol and there are flashing lights all over the place still there at the bottom), Forth result is a reddit threat, Fifth result is a list of shows that have seizure-inducing imagery in it https://www.tumblr.com/oatmilkmatchachic/648470101951152128 that person gives the exact same description as me, must be a contrarian weirdo too.

My favorite animanga series ever, recently topping Attack on Titan for me. I hope you enjoy it.

nobody forced you to sign up chief, they also watch multiple shows that arent aot maybe you should branch out and watch some new anime

Crusty

It's only the 13th, month isn't even half over yet

Ego Jinpachi

not sure if you are complaining about expecting more aot eps released by now OR wanting more of other shows, if the former, 3 so far (4th scheduled for today) is perfectly paced so far for 2 weeks = 4 eps, if the latter, they are transitioning to new shows this month since they are about to finish or finished many of their regular shows almost simultaneously, so that part is chaotic to figure out a schedule moving forward.

2023-01-19 18:49:57 I tried to watch more of the show they react to in full-length that I haven't watched which is a different experience than already knowing what's going to happen like aot, hotd, chainsaw and deathnote. First with mob psycho...almost got a seizure 1st episode, the animations were made too unnecessarily trippy and uncomfortable, a pain to watch, the plot and the better call saul dude humor didn't hook me, the animation looked dated like old newspaper's cartoons, but still I might've been able to let all that slide in favor of a good story if it wasn't for the fact that I couldn't get past the eye r*pe from ep1 so I doubt I'll pick it up again sadly (cuz it's highly regarded) unless someone tells me the animations get less seizure-inducing later on and I'm bored with nothing else to watch then sure... I'll give it a second chance. Secondly tried Kaguya, too much going on on screen to keep track of dialogue and/or inner dialogues, sometimes the narrator was talking at the same time the 2 mcs were too or having inner conversations and the other girl was doing something funny in the background it felt like, making it very hard to process everything that's going on in real-time first time watching, the plot didn't hook me entirely either so it is on standby atm. Those 2 were the only ones I tried, cuz the rest of the shows like Haikyu, JJK, MHA are not available from s1e1. Now on to Mushoku Tensei, hopefully, the third time's the charm with this one.

I get the frustration. I've seen other channels start way after these guys with AoT and completely lap them. But keep in mind, i'm pretty sure these guys work fulltime jobs as well and also they just don't react, they do a damn near hour deep dive analysis on the episodes as well. Quality over quantity my friend

Ego Jinpachi

I would've normally skipped it too since lots of people have said bad things about it, but I'll give ep1 a try since they'll be watching it and I'm bored while I wait for arcane to drop lol.
