I watched the first 6 or something episodes of Summertime Rendering and really enjoyed it and than I dropped it cause it stopped being a slice of life murder thriller and more of a fantasy sci-fi anime that seemed generic.

thats the problem with summertime. it removes all the mystery around episode 6 or so and just become mindless shonen action. pity as i was really enjoying it up until that part then just dropped it too.

my original vote was for summertime, but im voting odd taxi now. anyone thats voting summertime should do so too.. if we join forces, at least we can spare them from watching heavenly delusion

I've seen Heavenly Delusion on several reaction channels now. It's great but I'd like something different. Summertime Rendering is also good, but I think I want to see Odd Taxi this time. So I'm voting Odd Taxi. Whatever wins this poll I'll be happy with.

Not a cliffhanger really. It's just obvious that it isn't a complete story. It's fine as a stand alone I think. Makes a good jumping off point for the manga if you want more.

Odd Taxi and Summertime Render are complete stories. HD is clearly not the full story, but still a good watch.

Heavenly Delusion feels (to me) like the best option, but I will vote Odd Taxi to spare them from experiencing the painful waiting game for a S2 announcement.

That's how I feel whenever HxH is an option. Most channels have watched or are currently watching it. I follow a LOT of Patreon channels, and 6 of the reactors I support are in the middle of HxH right now. It gets old after a while. Long story short, I can understand if you feel that way about Heavenly Delusion.

Why? I wanna believe your goal is sparing them from ending on a cliffhanger, because S2 of Heavenly Delusion hasn't even been announced yet... but I get the impression you're trying to boycott the show for other reasons. Hopefully, I'm misreading your comment and you actually plan to support the show in the event that a S2 is someday announced.

out of the 3 here i think i would enjoy it the best. odd taxi i have zero interest in and summertime render loses it at around the 6th episode. i did give heavenly delusion a chance and actually watched it and its ok. not really that big a fan of the b plot but the a plot is pretty good. the biggest negative i have for the show is THAT part. it just seemed like it was put there for shock value and kinda ruins the whole rest of the season.

WARNING - SPOILERS BELOW The story starts at a sort-of post-apocalyptic Earth. We are never told WHAT happened. The side-story of the enclosed school is played very close to the chest, before it's indirectly revealed that the side-story takes place in the past. In the post-credit scene, the last scene of the movie, we are back at side-story time and we see a handful of supernatural teens arriving at a regular modern day city, clearly pre-apocalypse. It IS a cliffhanger because there're 2 great questions created and left unanswered: 1) It's implied that the kids might've caused the monster apocalypse. How? 2) All this time, we were led to believe that the enclosed school facility was protecting the kids from the apocalypse, and that there was nothing outside. How will the kids react to the world and how will the world react to the supernatural and the facility shenanigans? This is the cliffhanger. Literally, we're left at the first steps of the monster apocalypse.
