Update 9 Devlog #3 - Elsa Examination (Patreon)

Greetings fellow doctors!

While you wait for the new update, I'll go through Elsa's medical examination, as well as some additional events that occur outside of the clinic with varying outcomes based on your decisions.



In order to build trust with the patient, as is necessary for many GP2 examinations, you will need to visit and speak with her. The issue with Elsa is Diabetic Ketoacidosis, meaning she has too much ketones and acids in her blood. This is caused by a lack of insulin, which can be due to not enough food, too much exercise, or some other factor. Treatment involves giving her insulin and fluids to help flush the ketones out of her system.



Why am I telling you this before you have the chance to play it? Because the major challenge for Julie will not be to figure out what's going on, but rather to persuade Elsa to adapt her way of life to better fit her special needs. Will you be able to earn her confidence and perhaps even more, if that is what Julie pursues?



The objective of this evaluation is to assess Julie's ability to handle relationships, rather than her clinical abilities. Will you be able to "rescue" Elsa from herself?
