This is the early draft of textboxes that will be included in the new UI that artist sasquatchii is drawing for the game.

What do you think about it? If you don't like it would you comment about why you don't like it?

I voted 'don't like' purely because the UI often masks details such as the bottom of the clipboard during examinations. Perhaps it's settings could be dynamic, so that when the mouse pointer is over them the colours are strong and opaque, but when the mouse is in the main screen, the colours are muted and transparent so that the underlying scene can be seen. That would be better than implementing some sort of 'auto-hide' feature, which can be irritating.

The vote is about "Textboxes", other parts of the UI will be shown when ready and with a different poll for each one. The issue with clipboard is known and in newest exams you have to click on the link to see it, hence hiding the user interface in the process. Still, that's a temporary fix too, but I won't get my hands on it until the new UI is done, or I will have to work on it more than twice and that would be a waste of time :D Thank you very much for your feedback mate!

OK, in terms of the textboxes when they are offering options, the look and feel is 'medical' or 'clinical', so they are in keeping with the game. the font is a readable size on my monitor and the contrast is good. I am not sure about the circles that come up when the mouse pointer hovers on a text box, but that is not good or bad, just different, and it still makes the selection clear.
