I know, starting a new game with each update is frustrating. I'm very sorry about any problem this might cause you.

Still, since the game is in alpha and while many things are quite ready in my mind, they aren't developed yet, so it often happens that I have to insert a new variable, calculation, image, scene, character etc. etc. that must be inserted at the start of the game to work properly.

I'm trying to figure out a way for the game to not force the player to start over and over again with each episode update, and I'm also trying to insert new events/exams/images and situations in the first month of the story so that repeating it will be quite fun nonetheless (at least I hope so).

When a game is in an alpha state, things change. One should expect this. I have been in Beta Test for a few MMOs and we were told to expect periodic server wipes. This is no different. The game is not done...so why shouldn't we expect things like this?

Because, to bring a personal example, I'm a little tired of repeating the long actions needed to become acquainted with your sisters in "Big Brother" game. So I understand if some of my players will complain about that someday. And I'm looking for solutions to the problem.

Meh I expect to restart 30 times in alpha/beta. Some people get mad but to me its part of playing a game like that. How you supose to know how the beggining got tweaked if you never do it? At least this game its not that bad I feel like I am learnign from the examinations. Other more porny games its annoying i got see same story over and over again and some of them very grindy. I mean I want the porny bits in this but so far I like it probally won't get annoyed till restart number 12 by that point I start a wait for the good patch policies and skip every other one lol. Like Kenshi been playing that since it got on steam in 2013, I start from scratch every tiem I play to see how it plays for new player and provide input. Meanwhile they let you keep importing chars from old files so long there are people with chars that got over 600 hours they just import eveyr time a save is corrupted and it carries over their stats and inventory, and they are bored out of their minds because they got a squad of like 10 guys who can murder every thing in the game literaly bare handed since they put in unarmed combat skill a year ago lol. But I keep doing that because those guys show up and post input about how dull it is how they want it harder so the dev can see it from a new starts perspective, like couple of patches it was just hell on earth for new start. And just this last update they nerfed things they buffed to make it harder for older players because it was too much for new starts. But because of stuff like that I do new saves.

Oh and with games like this its handy to, like I found some bugs for a few games like Glassix stuff most people don't get because they just use old saves like showing up to a scripted event and the princpal was following the new script to make her wander and fulfill made up needs like eat or use bathroom no clue but she never showed up for the appointment for me to discover her lol And that is huge game breaking bug as she is part of a few progression lines and wouldn't show up for me at all. Granted Glassix introduced cheat modes after he made saves incombtable so all I have to do in that is hit new game then click on all the stats with my mouses 3 click macro to max out everything then show up to trigger things... But he is doing over hauls on the way they move aroudn the map all the time so its usefull as hell still as they often end places they shouldn't be at set times they say they will be. Hell one flat out in recent hot fix said to meet her in a lobby at noon I forced to follow me there wich works now to trigger. didn't work let her go moved on saw she went to cafeteria, the event got redone but not the dialogue hinting to it, so got report that as well.
