Since I'm new on Patreon I'm wondering which method is better to deliver updates to paying patrons.

While making a "patron post only" is the simplest way, I saw dozens of people actually pledging, downloading and then canceling the pledge.

Since I, differently from many other devs around here, deliver a "Public and free" update monthly I feel bad about this, but not for myself as for the paying patrons who really supported me with real money and that deserve some kind of recognition for this.

So I think that next month the updates a, b and c for $20, $10 and $5 patrons will be sent by email once I checked who did pay and who didn't.

General Practitioner is and always will be FOR FREE and I won't EVER release something "just for patrons".

I don't want you to pay me for my game. I thank you for supporting my game and my work, which is
very different in my opinion.

Be safe and healthy, and thank you to you ALL!

I don't know... I personally dislike the pay-per-content method...

I prefer the updates being available on the Patreon site rather than being sent by email. I receive a lot of emails and that is why I would prefer to visit this site to download the updates.

I haven't made my mind about this yet. I guess I'll decide after July 1st when patrons payments are processed. Thank you for your feedback!

I just noticed that Patreon allows me to access a "Relationship management" panel where I can see who's been charged successfully and send them a message from within Patreon itself. This way I could send customized links without having to use emails! Awesome.
