At the end of the two-part intro to Alien Force, he kept his knee injury after ending his Humongosaur transformation but otherwise it hasn't appeared since. IIRC those are remnants of a dropped plot thread that didn't make it to the final cut. Probs my least fav episode of the first two seasons; should've come out a lot closer at least. Even the alien choices seem out of character for Ben unless he was new to the watch. Flipping the script on your parents and praising them while taking responsibility is the cheat code to skirting punishments though.

the episode is confusing. but what im getting out of this is that the dad eventually found out about the plumber stuff, especially since their grandma is an alien. but i don't know why Ben's dad acts surprised while we just had a visit from Gwen's family a couple episodes ago.

You’re right that these are pad episodes. I’m pretty sure they were handled by guest writers, which explains the awkward plots.

In episode 1 or 2 of alien force humongosaur skinned his knee when he fell off a DnAlien ship and bens knee was still skinned when he turned back

So fun fact: Humungousaurs base size is 20 ft, But he can grow to 60 ft, and SHRINK down to 12 ft

I gotta say this is the one episode that enoyed me the most from the show. The grounded parts of the story felt very forced to me. Happy to see u guys atleast had fun with the ridiculousness of it.

Yeah as a huge Ben 10 fan alien force and ultimate alien have a good chunk of episodes like this they're not good or bad just makes you feel like the writers wearnt trying

i mean it didnt seem to me like he was shocked about the existence of aliens he was more shocked about Ben which is fair considering. Also Verdona did say Max tried to hide his plumber life from her too even tho she herself was an alien so I dont find it shocking that Ben's dad knew about that too. But you are right there are a lot of plot holes here and there despite how good Ben 10 usually is with keeping track of the lore.

Also to be fair, Ben doesn't want to disrespect his Parents even if he is a superhero and stuff, obviously he still has a duty to do which he gets around to when Kevin is in real life threatening danger, but I do like and appreciate that Ben remembers that he was a son first before he became the Savior of the galaxy.

Bens mom shows up a few more times but I don’t think Bens dad ever makes another appearance after this. None that I remember.

what I don't understand is that Gwen's dad knows that they do all this so how did his brother, ben's dad, not know. Also at the beginning of the episode Ben's dad seems out of the loop about plumbers, and when Ben tells him the whole world is at stack because aliens(which he has seen with his own eyes) are attacking, and doesn't care. Yet at the end of the episode he knows all about the plumbers, even has gear(I don't believe that Max came to visit his son's house and left alien tech), and Ben can fight because the world is in danger

So I dont think Gwens dad knows that they are out fighting aliens. He just knew they had powers. So I guess he assumed that Bens parents knew about the omnitrix, or for some reason him and his wife were hiding during the fight with Verdona and didn't see anything til after she fixed the house.
