I'm stoked for: Persona 5 Tactica Mythforce Detective Pikachu Returns Super Mario RPG Remaster Untitled Peach Game Luigi's Mansion 2: Dark Moon Batman: Arkham Trilogy Pikmin 4, 1-2 MGS Master Collection Vol 1 Vampire Survivors Star Ocean: 2nd Story R Warioware Move SMB Wonder SMB Wonder is the most psychedelic Mario game I've ever seen. Some of those visual effects when you get a wonder seed were straight from some of my shroom trips during college.

I am always sad because they never reveal a Kid Icarus port or sequel. Or Tomodachi Life. However, Mario RPG, the mysterious Peach game, the Dark Moon port, Mario Kart DLC, and of course Super Mario Bros Wonder look really cool and I can't wait to pick them up. I might try Pikmin but Ive never played the games myself.

The Dragon Quest Monster spinoff games have apparently been inspired by one of their main games, DQ V, and the spinoff existed since 1998. They most likely were inspired by Pokemon too, seeing as how the DQM spinoff came out two years after Pokemon's first games. I think gen 2 Pokemon games might have been inspired by DQM too?? I've only played one DQM game, Joker, but it was really fun. There definitely are similarities between DQM and Pokemon, but DQM has some different mechanics. Seeing another one being made was a surprise and I'm looking forward to this new game!

NONE OF YOU HAVE EVER PLAYED SUPER MARIO RPG?! Oh what a treat. God I love that game. Still play it about once a year on the original SNES. I could talk forever about this amazing gem. Shame the sequel never got to be made and instead they called Paper Mario "the sequel".

From what I've heard, the first Detective Pikachu game on 3DS was not good so my hopes for this sequel are not high. But I'm super excited for Pikmin 4 and 1/2 being added to the switch because it means all four games are on one console, the new Mario game and the Mario RPG remake. I wish we'd gotten a proper release date for the DLC packs they showed here but it was neat to see more of what the Pokemon ones would be.

Super Mario RPG is a touchstone for a generation of gamers...the gateway drug to grinding levels and hidden bosses and oh so much time lost. I'd love to hear the thoughts of people playing the remake sans any nostalgia goggles, see how it holds up.
