Real Buggy is on that Joker shit I see why he’s feared across the sea now

The guy Zoro is fighting is Mr 7 from Baroque works as the mention he killed him

Anonymous

The person he was fighting is mr7. Remember that baroque works tried to recruit Zoro and Zoro killed mr 7. It did not appear but it was mentioned.

It could be that Zoro fights Mr. 7 there (the original one that he defeated before we met him for the first time). Garp also will likely not wear his dog hat because Oda only gave it to him to hide his identity from readers of the one-shot "Romance Dawn".

Im also very excited. And I love how buggy looks personally

It looks somewhat promising, but it's Netflix so it's really 50/50 at best. I'll believe it's any good only when I see it.

I noticed that they didnt draw on Sanji's eyebrow to maintain a realistic appearance. I'm fine with it but I have a feeling a lot of ppl are gonna complain considering how it becomes an actual important detail hundreds of chapters later 🤣

Buggy looks freaking terrifying and I am here for it!

Personally I really dislike the look of the live action. I knew One Piece wouldn't translate well to a live action, but I tried to keep high hopes because of the large budget, the team involved really caring about the series, needing the 'OK' from Oda, and how much training and hard work the actors went through for this series. But something just *really* isn't working for me. It's like they went half in and half out. They tried to make people look 'normal' like Alvida being small, Usopp regular nose, no Sanji eyebrow curl, making Merry 'realistic', but then still kept so many silly cartoonish things like how Usopp's slingshot looks, how the Navy Base town looks, Buggy's crazy look, I think they should've just went all realistic or all cartoonish. I think everything looking realistic makes the cartoonish things stand out really hard and appear like it is cheesy/bad CGI. The two different styles together just aren't working for me, and I think that might be the thing that is throwing me off the hardest. Something just feels weird af, like Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. I think all these things are relatively fine on their own, but they just feel so out of place mashed together in the same world. I will still watch the supported release regardless, because I love the series!!

Here’s a random request: don’t know if you guys have seen it but it’s called Kung Fury it’s basically an homage/parody of everything 80s. You guys will love it

i thought everything in this trailer was great i was just iffy on luffys actor and his voice/accent it was just kinda cringy like when he said gum gum pistole at the end

Will we be getting a reaction from the full crew for this one?

Anonymous

For the outfits they took inspiration from the cover stories which is pretty dope I like it

Icy

For me them making some of the jokes that seem more of a parody then an adaptation and I really don't like that and makes me wherry of it

2023-06-18 19:36:24 People often tend to expect perfection when it comes to live action but they are two different media creatures. You can't expect the fantastical world of anime to translate well to live action, but I like that the effort is being made. From what I have watched Alita>Cowboy Bebop>Ghost in the Shell>Dragonball Evolution. *Note these are the only ones I have watched so far*

Saying gum gum pistol is gonna sound cringe whoever says it, many people are well adjusted to the dub and sun actor. Hearing a new one will sound cringe

Apparently this teaser footage is a year old, so better cgi and effects will be in play

SlapHappyGreen

I dont know if you guys noticed but at the beginning of the trailer you see shanks ship in the background

not every series really fits a different media like this imo. like i couldnt see something as trippy as adventure time for example getting a proper live action adaptation.
