I think some of the reason for the lower review of the last two movies has to do with the fact that they split one book into two movies.

Interstellar is so good!! I don't care for the ending much though. I personally prefer the movie The Martian, but I think most people would find Interstellar more entertaining overall

Kinda disagree with the girl tbh. I don't think it's a book thing. The Mockingjay movies were pretty loyal to the book. In fact, the movies made some changes from the book that many people liked better. I think people just disliked it for the lack of action and no games. But you guys are definitely right. This one is better than the first. The first movie made more changes from the book than the Mockingjay movies.

Given the graphic nature of the books I'm shocked how well the movies depicted them while still sta staYing within their pg-13 limits. It kinda ridiculous how this one was rated the lowest when it's the first one thats the worse since it cut out vital things that carried on through the books. Sadly the movies didn't incorporate two major things that happened in the first book that would have been an interesting thing to explore 😞

Yes in the books the Victor's were forced to do whatever the capital wanted from them. Finnick is hot and a lot of high ranking people in the capital wanted him. Snow made him prostitute himself out by threatening Finnick's girl. But Finnick got smart. Instead of taking money for it he took secrets. He now has dirt on EVERYBODY in the capital
