Kevin's powers do still match the original series he's always been able to harness energy its just that trying to harness the omnitrix's energy altered him remember he used to mess around with the arcade machines too

The reason Ben didn’t want to reveal the omnitrix is because like the plumbers, it’s top secret and only available for other plumbers or aliens. Not really for regular people to know about.

If you wanna know more about green lantern you guys should watch “Green Lantern: The Animated Series” it’s fantastic. It’s only one season, it got canceled because of how poorly the movie performed but believe me when I say that the show is amazing. Only 26 episodes

yeah the episodes are our of order sometimes so even if it says they are watching episode whatever thats not always the correct number listed. They are watching it based on the wiki order provided which is the correct order.

The "Symbol" on the Omnitrix and the badges is just the 'intergalactic' peace symbol, just like real life hippies use their peace symbol. It's just the icon the plumbers have, and the Omnitrix is the same because the creator wanted it to be used as a tool for peace and understanding across species in the galaxy. It's also associated with the Galvan (Gray Matter species) since their technology is well known.

Kevin’s immature but he also spent a good chunk of his childhood in a nightmare dimension with very few people to interact with so I give him a pass and honestly am impressed he turned out as stable as he did

Also something that I don't see many people think about in this ep is how Ben doesn't know that all the chaos is being caused by an Upgrade species even tho we see how it changes to green/black and Ben has done this before. So this made me question if people don't recognize when something is in control of an Upgrade, kinda how Armament Haki works in One Piece, canonically, you can't see it, but we readers/viewers see it with that deep black color

Kevin’s powers were always to absorb energy, it’s the same as the original series . He’s just gotten better control over it. He absorbed Ben’s omnitrix in the first series hence why he became a monster then.

Yeah so this new/updated omnitrix works on a battery system instead of a timer. The writers are pretty vague about what drains it faster probably so it never feels as cheap as it did in the original series

I'm pretty sure the stuff about the peace symbol isn't mentioned on screen, or if it was it was a really minor thing that doesn't really matter. Plus the omnitrix thing was already said in the 3 part movie finale. If I'm wrong about any of that then I'll politely remove it with a good reason.
