I love the jasper and lapis relationship, its my favorite in the show. They do great to show how toxic it was and how bad they both were for each other.

I gotta give the show props, it would have been so easy to just set the relationship between lapis and jasper as one sided with jasper being the abuser but they subvert expectations and make it a mutually abusive relationship.

Season 5 is separate from steven universe future! Season 5 happens after season 4, before the movie. It goes Season 5>Movie>Future. But you'll need to check a different streaming service for season 5.. Idk why Hulu doesn't have it (unless its bc of that one episode that got the show shortened but that'd be dumb).

I think Hulu didnt get the rights to show season 5 but HBO Max did so they will have to switch to HBO Max after season 4

For next weeks batch of four- episode 20 is part one of the connected episodes "Bismuth" (both episode 20 and 21). If possible, both Bismuth episodes should be watched together since they're directly connected! I don't know if that aligns with your streaming service + schedule, but it's just a heads up.

I'm pretty sure the 2 episodes are just merged into one. Bc on HBO Max it says the Bismuth episode is 24 minutes but I'm not sure if it's the same on Hulu

ive been asking myself that question for a long time now 💀 not getting the rights to season 5 is one thing but ill never understand how they could fuck up Future so much by putting the episode names in the correct order but putting the wrong episode in those slots then having several episodes missing

Peridot mentioned it once in an earlier episode, when she revealed Amethyst is considered defective for her small size: Quartzes are "huge, loyal soldiers." Like bigger and stronger and (no offense to Rubies, I love you) smarter than Rubies. Amethysts and Jaspers are Quartzes, and Rose Quartzes naturally would be too.
