It's interesting how they gave older episodes an intro, for the first few seasons the show didn't have an intro it was just the show title then the episode name.

For the backgrounds it was done for a lot of places by taking pictures of real areas then just using that as a base for the backgrounds and digitizing them. people also figured out by the backgrounds the show would take place somewhere in either washington or near sanfran

The intro was actually always there in the UK airings (where the show is made), but US Cartoon Network airings left out the intro for more commercial time..

Fun fact: Andy Merrill is the actual voice of Brak, but wasn't able to record the voice for Toon:FM in Europe, a show hosted by Brak and Johnny Bravo, so instead they got Dan Russell to imitate Andy Merril's voice for Brak. Once Dan got hired on Gumball he brought the voice to the role of Gumball's dad. That's why Gumball's Dad sounds like Brak.
