I'm glad he's alive ! Welcome back and great job surviving!! 👏

ANIMEMUSE

You guys should watch voltron legendary defender series on Netflix. Not many people have reacted to it but it’s really good.

DementisXYZ

If you need more Animated Movie recommendations (since my non-animated recommendations would be...just...all over the place), I would like to throw "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" into the ring. Edit: After the third HTTYD, naturally.

Jase Conklin

I can’t believe this was released today, on my birthday! Like I love your content and this is one of my favorite trilogy’s so the fact that I get to watch this on my birthday is pretty cool. Sorry for the long message I just wanted to share how much brighter you me content makes my days!

Izzy

Animated movies recommendations: Rise of the Guardians, Coraline, and all of the Ghibli films! Loving your Dreamworks reactions :)

Rez

Also, I would love for ya'll to react to The Incredibles 1 and 2. Both of those movies were so good and I think you guys would enjoy them. Another recommendation is Big Hero 6.

Rhett Hogan

You should check out Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole. It was directed by Zack Snyder.

Gabriel Vespa

Glad to see HMan back, also im loving your guys reactions especially with the movies. I loved watching Kung Fu Panda along with you guys and now I'm loving watching How to Train Your Dragon with you. This movie definitely always hits deep for me because of Stoicks death since I lost my dad in 2015. Keep up the great work, cant wait for more, also for suggestions you guys should check out Dragon Hunters (2008), and Rise of the Guardians.

Poet

You should guys really check out the series because you get to see the creation of the wingsuit flame sword fun fact toothless has plasma shots

Astrid

You are by far my favourite reaction channel, I'd watch your reaction to the TV show it is cannon and from what what I remember its pretty good, keep up the good work guys

Sydney Horton

You guys should totally check out the HTTYD TV series. It starts with Riders of Berk, then Defenders of Berk. After that, go to Race to the Edge. Also, you really need to watch Gift of the Night Fury before the 3rd movie.

Thijs

it would be great if you guys reacted to more horror, like the scream francise those movies are great and you guys would be just in time for the sixt one to hit streaming

ANIMEMUSE

The how to train your dragon tv is cannon and takes place between the first two movies

Anonymous

About the how to train your dragons TV series, there is too seasons. The first one is a year after Movie 1 and the 2nd series is two years before second movie. And yes it is canon. Hope I didn't spell it too bad. :D

RedAlphaWolf808

I would love to see your guys reaction to how to train your dragon series it’s really good

Disney15ish

While the series is canon (taking place between 1 and 2), the writer/director of the movies Dean DeBlois had no direct involvement in the show except some conversations with the showrunners making sure they weren't contradicting anything with the movies.

Zero Dragneel

Love your content you guys should watch dragons: race to the edge the t.v series is in-between how to train your dragon 1 and 2. It's a good watch.

Alejandro Villalobos

i would love for yall to react to Open Season, turbo, or penguins of Madagascar but the how to train your dragon series is also good and i got hooked really bad lol

Lexi McDaniel

I’d love to see you guys react to the tv series! It’s really good!

Shafiq

Actually the animators for the movies both studied how cats reacted to certain things and people and used that for the basis of the first film since cats are more keen around strangers and they decided to make them more like dogs in the 2nd one due to them being a lot more comfortable around people and being more of a loyal companion so they are basically a good mix of both they aren’t really more of either. Just more so a healthy balance of both

TrixieTurner

Rewatching the movie for the first time I didn't realize how cat like the dragons are.

ANIMEMUSE

The how dragons tv shows are fantastic you guys really should react to them

ANIMEMUSE

There’s actually 8 Riders of berk season 1 Defenders of berk season 2 RACE to the Edge Season 3-8 Race to the edge is a Netflix original

GainingGamer

Jonathan S Olender

Megamind would be a great movie to react too

TrixieTurner

Goddamn the funeral scene got me more than tony starks funeral.

Kay M

theres also the Hulu show Dragons: The Nine Realms thats currently airing

Jose Perez

BTW toothless's fire shot is blue/purple cause he shoots plasma. The series goes way more in depth with all the dragons and what they do.

Colonel Violet

ok so who's the stupidly optimistic person, I also wanna know xD

Esteban Garcia maldonado

For the dragons it looks like different animals for example astrids acts like a chicken and toothless like a mix of dog, cat, and a bat

Taii the Decepticon

I enjoyed this so much! I also think you guys should give HTTYD TV series a watch as well it was so good and I think it went more into depth of the dragon species as a whole

Bubblegum402

The way I go full gremlin mode when I see you guys upload something I like 😂😂

Wulves Gaming

Please do the TV series to get more canon lore for the bridge between the first and second How To Train Your Dragon movies.

zimXzombie

Petrichor

Still getting on the "Megamind" train, and "Rogue One" (if you feel like tackling some Star Wars).

Laura D

Sorry to Boom, he's great but the patreon commenter he mentioned is accurate. During the film's commentary, the directors Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois and producer Bonnie Arnold explained that Toothless's movements were based on one of the artist's cat. I definitely think there is some dog inspiration as well, especially with the licking and tongue hanging out sometimes when flying but the primary movement design was inspired by cats. Also, Cats 100% play tug o war. My boy Pepsi's favorite thing in the world was tug o war.

Jessica Williams

Yes! Watch the shows! They're so good! I believe the order is Riders of Berk and then Race to the Edge. There's also a new one set in the future, not a big fan of that one honestly. It has a very different feel. Maybe it's because I'm more enamored with the Vikings theme.

SonicMcCall

Yes please watch the TV shows!!

Jeremy Berry

The tv show on this is really good

Fenrir

Just subbed here after watching the first movie on YouTube. Just started this one and two things to point out. The time skip wasn’t actually a skip. The tv series that everyone is talking about filled that time, so if you watch that, you’ll actually see the characters age. There’s also callbacks to episodes of the three series in the movie…such as Astrid saying “didn’t she try to bury you alive?”

Fenrir

Update, just finished, loving the reactions. My favorite is this one (2nd) VERY closely followed by the third. It’s probably partially due to the tv series blending into this one, it all just felt very connected and free. All three though are neck and neck for me. I’d say they’re all in my top 25 for movies. Easily number 1 for trilogies…and that’s not just animated movies

BonnieBunny89009

Going on a movie binge after becoming gold tier. Just finished this one so I thought I'd finally drop some recommendations since this one isn't too old of a post, hopefully- Would be very surprising if none have you have ever seen it considering it was released in 1999, but would love to see The Iron Giant! It's my personal favorite move ever, I've rewatched it so many times I've lost count- Any of the studio ghibli movies are a big recommendation too, perhaps the movies like Ponyo, Kiki's Delivery Service or Totoro are good to start off with. I'd recommend doing all those movies though, I've seen most of them and they're all great! Save 'Grave of Fireflies' for when you wanna cry though. I know you guys are probably going to eventually do all of the Pixar movies you haven't seen yet, because they're, well, PIXAR- and I'm sure it's shoved down your throats by others too, but uh- yeah do more Pixar movies. I'd really like to see ya'll watch Wall-E, since that's my personal favorite Pixar movie :)) I don't usually watch 'live action' movies, but for a horror movie recommendation I'd go with A Quiet Place for sure. I thought it was really good. Pretty damn scary, and since it has a sequel, you can do that right after too. I don't think I've seen that recommended yet, so I hope ya'll consider it!

Juan Carlos Jaimes Jr.

For old Horror movies I would recommend the first and second movies of Tremors. It is old but has great comedy and really cool design for monsters! I think yall will love it.

2023-04-25 18:09:10 In terms of animated movies under Disney I highly recommend - Hunchback of Notre Dame (NOT a kid's movie, great characters, Awesome villain, and DOPE songs, super DARK), Tarzan is another favorite. I grew up in the Post-Renaissance era so I strongly suggest: Dinosaur (EPIC music, & quite dark, great adventure), Atlantis the lost empire (Great action, dark, and diverse cast), Treasure Planet (unique premise), Brother Bear (heartwarming story). Other movies are Wreck-it-Ralph (good animation, touching story, great characters), and The Great Mouse Detective is another old Disney movie that has good mystery, action, and characters.

For animated movies under Dreamworks, I recommend: The Prince of Egypt (touching story, amazing soundtrack, good animation, top tier movie), The Road to El Dorado (personally I like the Mexican Spanish version but has great comedy moments, fun characters, fun songs, enjoyable adventure film), Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron is a ride that you will appreciate (great horse animation, beautiful soundtrack, touching story, and the setting is so good with the old west), Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas (epic adventure with good 2D animation, 3d can be a little old, but fun action scenes, good background music, and such an entertaining villain). Megamind is just a fun superhero comedy that you have to watch it's becoming a cult classic, and the music just goes so hard, plus a fun twist and believable villain. Rise of Guardians is also a film of fairy tale creatures in an action film to save kids. Amazing designs and a rich protagonist, truly underrated.

2023-04-06 10:33:59 Then studio Ghibli is always a fun one to watch. May be hard to promote on YT. Two honorable mentions and some of my top 5 are The Castle of Cagliostro (1979) & Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (1984). Both films are rich with action and characters, the films give that old-film vibe that just looks great. Then my personal favorites are Castle in the Sky (1986), Porco Rosso (1992), and Princess Mononoke (1997).

Finally, I highly recommend Star Wars the Clone Wars, such an epic story that is dark and sad but has some hype moments. To get into it you can watch the first 2 films of the series (live-action), then the animated movie, then the show for 6 and 1/2 seasons, then return to the 3rd film which is just the darkest and saddest moment of the series. Then return to end the Clone Wars show in Season 7. And from there you can watch the other 6 movies plus Rouge One which is another dark movie.

In my opinion shrek 4 was a pretty good movie though especially with how bad shrek 3 was and some people don't even realize shrek 4 isn't the third movie that's how unliked and ignored the 3rd movie was. I have had people say shrek forever after was the 3rd movie made me feel like I was crazy and making things up but no movie was just so unliked many people who saw it chose to act like it doesn't exist

You’re as beautiful as the day I lost you
