I’m so glad you guys loved this movie, and there are plenty of videos that explain the sonic the hedgehog lore and storyline that you guys can react too, tho they are majority an hour long each most likely. But if you wanna get the sonic lore that is the best way to do it besides just playing through the games.

You guys should watch SnapCube's fandubs of Sonic Adventure 2. Their videos are popular in the community; for reactions too. It's basically an abridged of the game that Hman was talking about. 🙏🏾 it may or may not be the best thing to explain the lore lol

Also I love the How to Train Your Dragon movies would love to see that. Also fun fact Sonic going gold (aka Super Sonic) is actually the ult for Sonic in Smash Bros so if you play as him and use the ult you can see the chaos emeralds go to him and he goes Super Sonic in the game. That ability to use the Chaos Emeralds (aka Chaos Control) is carried throughout almost every Sonic game.

"This might be the best scene in the movie." THANK YOU! I broke my "no theaters" rule for this movie and I was losing my shit at that scene. The disappointment I felt when I saw the internet saying "the human stuff was intrusive and the worst part of the movie" physically hurt. It makes me so happy to see you guys enjoying that Barracuda scene as much as I did.

Fun fact: Sonic 3 + Avatar 3 will be released on the same day (unless something happens) on December 20th, 2024. I hope Jim comes back + he has said that if he does come back he hopes he will get to wear a fat suit to look even more like Robotnik in the games. Also glad you got H-Man to join It was very subtle but they did include part of the drowning music from the games during that scene. And the Snap Cub fan dubs are hilarious.

I think maybe a compilation of game cut scenes would probably work well. That way you could experience it without having to play if you don’t have the time. The snap cube fan dubs are also a lot of fun even if they don’t actually follow the story or characters.

I was so confused because the human parts balance out really well. It worked to introduce gun which they would need to do to bring in shadow. A lot of people just hate human characters tho so there was no way they would have been happy.

definitely 3rd on watching SnapCube's fan dubs. they really are like abridged series, but it's completely improvised on the spot by the VAs. they watch the video and real time VA their characters together and honestly it's hilarious. ever heard of the meme of Eggman saying "I've come to make an announcement: shadow is a bitch-ass motherfucker. he pissed on my wife."? that meme came from one of their fan dubs

I actually liked this movie more than the 1st one mostly because Im a Tails fan but I thought both movies were really good. Sonic 3 isn't the only piece of contact coming because Paramount Plus is actually doing a Live Action Knuckles series that will be set after the events of Sonic 2.
