Super excited for the 2-part season finale next week! You all are picking up on all the little nuances in the show and it's so fun to watch!

@1:49 “The map of this world is crazy!” Despite how obvious it may seem (like the opening pages in a fantasy novel), many people do miss that the map drawn up is an accurate depiction of the world. You can quite literally trace where our heroes have journeyed from the Southern Water Tribe, to the Southern Air Temple, to Kyoshi Island, through the Earth Kingdom territories, and the island of the Roku’s temple. When we stopped in Omashu, one of you theorized that the Earth Kingdom could be doing so well because they make shady deals with the Fire Nation. It is important to note that as seen on the map, the Earth Kingdom is HUGE, there are many Fire Nation colonies in the Earth Kingdom, but it is not an easy nation to entirely taken over, in part, due to its sheer size (I think at least).

Love your guy's thoughts on the Water Tribes! I think you learn a bit more about the tribes as the show goes on, so I won't spoil anything, but if you do go back and watch the earlier episodes, I think it's important to note that Sokka does start the show with a pretty sexist attitude (remember the Kyoshi Island episode!). It isn't as noticeable in the Southern Tribe as the North obviously, but I think it is an interesting part of their culture to note. I've always seen Pakku as more upholding his culture to a fault, which you guys obviously pointed out. I really like that they addressed this part of Water Tribe culture

Man, these guys are watching Avatar, new Avatar is on the way, and now Code Lyoko is in my feed. It's a good year. Did they ever react to Lyoko stuff? The overarching plot was really good.

FYI The Comet is at the end of Summer, the episode with Roku and the fire temple was at the winter solstice so they have about 6 months before the comet.
