You guys have no idea how tense it was watching you look at TheMysteryShack.com, KNOWING how much merch is on that site shows GIANT SPOILERS. Please do not look closely at the merch until after you finish the show. PLEASE.

The other thing about that store is that... yeah, it's official merch. But it's just run by one guy, who started out as a fan. He will carry whatever official merch is put out by Disney, but over the years he has also put a lot of work into coming up with concepts for merch that Disney won't make, going through the actual process *with* Disney of licensing to make it, and getting it made -- like Robbie's hoodie. However, because he's just one guy (who goes to conventions and sets up a booth), most of the stuff he orders is small-batch, compared to what a giant company would make for wide-distribution merch. The other thing is that he will sometimes partner up with people overseas, to import merch from other countries. That's where that "Find Waddles" game came from -- it's from Russia. So (as you noticed) are both sets of figures listed on the site (one is a commercially-available set in Russia; the other set is by a fan-artist who creates small batches). So yeah, this guy has to balance the up-front cost of ordering batches of merch, with the estimate of what he can sell to recoup that investment. Older stuff DOES sometimes come back into stock, though; it just depends. Dipper's hat and Stan's fez are things he tends to restock a lot. The store started out as only GF merch. Over time, he has added merch for popular cartoon shows -- like Star vs. the Forces of Evil, and now, The Owl House, and Amphibia. It's just based on shows that he likes, and also, what he thinks will sell at the conventions he attends as a vendor. TOH and Amphibia are currently-running shows, which is why he emphasizes them on the front page. And, your guess was correct, both Dana Terrace (creator of The Owl House) and Matt Braly (creator of Amphibia) worked on Gravity Falls. (Also, Alex Hirsch does regular voices on The Owl House; and he has done some guest voices on Amphibia.)
