New Project I'm Working On (Patreon)

So, I've decided to do a different format for my next video. It's going to be a look at what I think we can expect our experience of music to be like when Augmented Reality is properly solved (ie: everything is 3D scanned and devices are small enough to wear without looking foolish).

To do this, I filmed myself walking down an alley in London and will be layering interface elements on top of it to give the impression of a POV experience of Augmented Reality. This is a  technical test to make sure I can match overlaid 3D stuff to the area. It looks dull now but wait until I've put everything in and designed it.

With that in mind, to help me flesh out the visuals, I'm getting help from two amazing visual designers. Sandra, who's a graphical interface specialist and Savith, who's a 3D art and motion specialist.

The video will be about 4 minutes long, with the tone being similar to my other videos. Not wholly optimistic and full of 'gee whizz - ain't technology the greatest!' but also not Black Mirror-esque melodrama either.

If people seem interested, I'll post about this project regularly. Also, since I'm likely to be putting in tons of easter eggs (I put easter eggs in all my videos), if you'd to include a phrase to be used for floating adverts, or written on a wall, let me know. If you want an image of yourself used in the video, also let me know (we need a few).
