New Character Designs and Story! (Patreon)

Happy December 2023! It’s amazing just how fast this year flew by! I can’t believe it and I’m not ready for 2024, it’s wild! I have a bunch of new designs and I was inspired from the Natural History Museum when I was in NYC. It came out of no where and I just had to sketch it out! It’s a fantasy/romance/war epic story. Think Atlantis the Lost Great Empire meets Nausica and the Valley of the Wind meets Jurassic Park.

This series would be called ‘Wings of Oil’. The entire magic system is based on fossil fuels and oil. The world used to be magical and every living thing had magic. A mass extinction event destroyed everything and the world evolved again without magic. Those magical creatures ended up as fossil fuels and can burned to make magic spells. Fossils and bones are used as weapons when you write a rune on it. Archeologists are paid by their kingdom to go on expeditions to find ancient relics/oil/and runes to get an upper hand in the war. The kingdoms are fighting WW1 style to seize the biggest magical oil deposit on the continent. The Main character Amber is a royal archeologist and is more interested in the culture of the ancient magical race of fae that went extinct. Her rival, Orin, is from the other kingdom and he’s more interested in how the magic oil works. Amber and Orin get separated from their groups in an ancient Fae tomb and have to work together to escape.

1) Orin (he’s the third guy with the glasses) and his goons. His entire family consists of intense archeologist who are brutal. Think the Malfoy family from Harry Potter. That’s their vibe but with a WW1 coat of paint. Orin is a pessimist when it comes to war.

2) Amber and her uncle who is the muscle for her. Amber is the type of person who is an optimist and thinks the best in people.

3) A bomb specialist. He’s on Amber’s squad. I designed him to make Amber’s squad a 3 man team. He hates the rival kingdom and everyone in it.

4) And then we have a redesign Hyde because he needs to be hotter. Someone doesn’t belong in this post and it’s him. I gave him douche man glasses haha.
