HOW can there still be no news?! It's getting flat-out ridiculous now. Given how they've done us wrong for all these years, surely Disney knows that fans will assume the worst if they don't explicitly tell us otherwise...

I'm just laughing about it now...isn't this absurd? We know nothing about her contract, she's been out of the news and silent...is she a ghost now? What's going on???

We can only be left to assume that absolutely nothing has changed. I don't know how much good it will do if/when she's gone. I was just looking at the "leadership" page on the LucasFilm website and it looks like a long list of people that would do no different regardless of her being there.

At that level in Hollywood I think it's all just an air-kissing club in which even when a knife goes in on a producer because of a string of train wreak decisions the result does nothing to harm a reputation. All it does is tell that person that the party is over for them at which point they leave and no one ever mentions them again. It seems even Harvey Weinstein's legacy has gone untouched. Hollywood viewed as a corporate concept hasn't 'retconned' his awards, has it? It's all as if what happened 'outside the gold circle' has no bearing on what goes on within it.
