One of the common misperceptions about asexuality is that it means one doesn't have sex. There's a variety of reasons asexual folks might have intimate relations. Sometimes it does mean a total lack of interest in sex, but it also can be more subtle, as Abe is expressing. Sounds like it's not a positive situation for him, though, sadly. I hope he can find his place. Kudos to MicroGoat for including this in the story.

I'm on the Ace spectrum, but I am very much Alloromantic. I love my partners, I just don't have the capability in me to enjoy sexual relations. This may or may not have to do with the fact I have Multiple Sclerosis, and measurable decreased sensation in the anal/genital regions. But my partners all love me, and I love them, such that doesn't matter.
