I'm starting to think Bernice isn't going to get through to him after all. Tragic...it looked like she got through to him but his old self maybe never be free after all. What would be really twisted is if Bernice became a bimbo and brought him out of whatever trance he was in only to deal with him. Ensuring there are no loose ends. Depending on how twisted it can be that can be making Byland a bimbo to, splitting the original Byland into a bimbo and possessing his body, or bimbofying Byland and then making Bimbo Bernice the new user of the book. That would be poetic tragedy at its finest. Although if Bernice is allowed to win last second I think a funny way (that would get more changes too) is if Byland got so carried away changing her that she had more then enough time to take action. Or Bimbo Bernice bumping the book into the water/maintaining enough of herself to get the book away even as a bimbo. After all I think she's easily the strongest willed girl the book has had to deal with (that we've seen) surely. I feel like any of those victories for Bernice would also be some interesting poetic justice.
