Realizing that his doppelganger had died, Mephisto also received the final message from the clone before its demise.

Mephisto pondered about the Hell Dimension-like aura from those gate that wasn't from his Hell Dimension.

Could it be that Merlin had discovered an unnoticed dimension? That different energy from magic surely hinted that Merlin found valuable things in that dimension.

Considering the situation, Mephisto thought for a moment. He hadn't heard of Merlin's return. According to his knowledge, Merlin might have permanently left this universe.

Or could it be the wealth of this new Supreme Merlin that caused all this?

After a moment of contemplation, Mephisto decided to spread the news that Merlin had a new successor, adding another Supreme Merlin in the magical world.
