Michael was brought back by two werewolf police officers who had taken him first. He was bound, limbs and mouth restrained, his eyes vacant and confused.

Lucian looked at Michael and spoke, "You've been injected with an enzyme to prevent transformation. It takes some time to dispel this unstable state."

Meanwhile, a werewolf on the side was about to draw blood from Michael, but Michael struggled violently, knocking the syringe from the werewolf's hand. The syringe shattered on the ground.

Seeing this, the nearby werewolf slapped Michael across the face.

Lucian stopped his subordinates and said, "Go check why Raze is delayed. With their strength and the help of those ninjas, it shouldn't take this long."

Lucian looked at Michael again and emphasized, "One of us."

He then plunged the needle into Michael's arm, beginning to draw blood.

"What are you doing?"

"Ending this conflict!"

Soon Lucian obtained a vial of Michael's blood.

Seeing Lucian stop the blood draw, Michael asked, "Your war has nothing to do with me."

"My war?"

At this point, Michael saw the necklace around his neck, and vivid memories flashed in his mind. He witnessed Lucian being locked on the ground in the castle, and he saw a vampire woman getting executed, turning into ashes.

Lucian rolled up his sleeve, injecting Michael's blood into his own body.
