Stuck (Updates, sorry for the wall of text) (Patreon)

Sorry for the lack of activity recently, been feeling a bit stuck with what I want to focus on. I'm stuck between doing what I need to do and what I want to do. On one hand I need to do commissions to actually make money, but on the other I want to do more animations, work on larger projects, and grow the community. 

I want to start shifting my brand towards animations, but its hard to keep up with weekly posts for animations especially if I'm doing commissions at the same time. I want to grow as an artist but I also want to deliver a consistent level of quality and expectation. I want to be experimental, I want to find what really works for me, I want to get animations voiced but I also need to save money where I can and its just kinda frustrating. I just feel... stuck.

Commissions have been kinda rough this month too. I've been trying to close out one of the long standing design commissions, but that's been a long back and forth. I've been working hard on an animation commission, but that's been a lot of work.  On top of that, I've been doing a lot of private commissions or things that don't really fit in the kind of stuff I normally post. It doesn't help that I don't feel comfortable posting WIPs for commission work until its completed and paid in full which really slows down posting over here too. Sometimes I just forget to post it too. I feel like I've been chained to my desk this month, but haven't been able to really show it. Maybe I need to change my commission process? I certainly need to adjust my prices. Maybe that would help with workload too?

I feel like I haven't been delivering on Patron benefits either since its really time consuming to do alts for animations and WIPs are extra slow. Post frequency has been a lot lower since I haven't really been doing SFW pieces either. I want to keep doing Monthly Exclusives, polls, etc. but its a lot of extra work for a significantly smaller subset of my audience. I do enjoy them though and I like rewarding your continued support. 

I think I'm going to do things a little different for February. I want to start a larger project and I want to get it voiced but I'm not sure I'll be able to run things here the way I normally do. Which means I probably won't be able to do a monthly exclusive (at least nothing too complex or an animation) I think my goal is going to be to break up the animation into smaller chunks I can still post weekly and build that up into a full animation. Depending on how different I decide to go for the month, I might end up pausing the Feb. billing cycle, but its not like I'm going to be completely inactive either. So stay tuned I guess, I'll probably post another update closer to February.
