What fantastic ideas! Now I just have to figure out a way to subtly make my friends watch this video without rousing suspicions. You mentioned both quacks of quedlinburg and boardgamegeek — and the boardgamegeek plastic bits for the quacks is THE most impressive quality-of-life upgrade for a game I've had so far, it makes the game so tangibly tacticle that stirring the bag is a pure pleasure now.

AND they won't eventually fade until they're unreadable...or at least not as quick. It's probably not an issue for most people, but we have had to replace the original chits at my board game cafe. Have you seen the bits in Spellbook? I'd love to play it with the current publishers of Quacks and give 'em a good nudge-nudge in the ribs.

Great suggestions! Here's a note about one of the dice trays you showed: I got a few of the cheapest Amazon hexagon snap-together trays last year for Chirstmas (these, or similar: https://www.amazon.com/SIQUK-Pieces-Leather-Folding-Hexagon/dp/B08MLJ4NBJ/). And they did kind of what I expected for cheap Amazon stuff, worked well at first. Then felt stretched and bubbled up, making it problematic to use. Super easy fix, though! I flattened the tray, took an exacto knife and cut the felt along the creases, leaving one side intact. Lift it up and quick hit with spray glue and it's all good. Seems to stick so far and I feel it's a decent trade off for how cheap they are. If you buy the 6-pack they're under $4/each.
