Hey patrons!

Today, I'm sharing three games which I think are very easy to overlook, because they seem unappealing at first glance. But actually they are a lot of fun, and I wanted to draw attention to them.

Sorry for the quiet period this month, I have been working hard on some stuff behind the scenes for some long-term improvements to the channel. It's an experiment that I hope will pay dividends, but we'll see! I will be filming another video next week, that should be with you shortly!

Actually yours,

Jon

Your review of Fantasy Realms had piqued my interest. Not something i would normally look at but i was curious. Have you had a chance to look at the XP that just came out for it - The Cursed Hoard? Do you think this adds more to a great game or will it detract it?

I have played the expansion. It can be split into two halves. One half, the cursed cards detract from the simplicity of the game and add very little. The other half are more basic cards in new suits, and they feel like more of the same good stuff. They shuffle into the deck and give you new ways to score. They make the game slightly longer but not in a bad way. I wouldn't say they are vital to own, but they are in keeping with the original spirit of the game.
