Hello Actual Patrons!

I wanted to reach out about something that's been on my mind since starting the Patreon - your satisfaction.

Since launching the Patreon, 17 backers have cancelled their pledge and many have decreased their pledge amount. I completely understand if people no longer feel like they can afford it - that is a natural part of this. The fear in my head is that some people are cancelling because they aren't happy with the videos.

I would like to have made another character video by now. Essen and various other things have got in the way. If anyone ever thinks that I've gone quiet or haven't posted anything in a while, I promise you I am working to fix it.

To look forward, I have filmed a review of Kitchen Rush which I will be posting early next week. I have the script ready for a Top 10 starring my new J-Lol character which was a little over-ambitious and has taken longer than expected, but is coming. And I've started thinking about a Christmas video.

I've not asked for feedback about the Patreon because I'm still working it out myself, and as the VLOG poll showed it's hard to cater to everyone! But if you're aren't happy with the channel and are considering cancelling your pledge, please message me with your concerns.

I don't want to bombard people with email notifications by making Patreon posts all the time, but I also don't want people to feel I've gone quiet. I hope I'm striking a happy medium.

Actually Yours,

Jon

I watch your videos because I find them informative and entertaining. The only thing I don't like is the characters that swear (Barry and Frank Justice), especially in earshot of little Timmy (he's already damaged enough, bless him). Just because my 9yr old likes to watch them too. Keep up the great work!

I haven't reduced my pledge yet but have thought about it. Not because I don't or no longer like your videos (character vids are much preferred, but I like the others as well), but for the same reason Nick gave above. I wanted to help you get on your feet and hopefully garner more patrons over time, then reduce my pledge a bit. 5$ isn't that much, of course, but it can add up if you want support different creators.
