June’s Poll Results (Patreon)

Well, to no one’s surprise, Konosuba won by a landslide the Plot Bunny Poll (I’m tempted to just give it a monthly slot so that the poll actually does something, let’s see how much work I can get done). As to the other poll… Yeah, this one’s been a surprise.

For the first time in a long, long while, Wordsworth hasn’t won any monthly poll. Which, on the one hand, weirds me out, but on the other, it lets me think a bit more about the next few chapters without rushing it (and frees me to write the other stuff that’s piled up).

So, who won?

Well, there’s been an actual tie between Yui’s Lily Garden and the Chef’s Choice option. As Yui has quite a few words already accumulated that I plan on writing ASAP, I think this time around, I’ll pick the Chef’s Choice option as the winner. So, what does that mean?

It means at least one update to Tales from a Lewd Fantasy World. For those of you newer to the Patreon, these are a series of short stories set in a fantasy land where some hentai tropes are part of the way the cosmos works. Which seems like a recipe for a mindless sex comedy, until I decide to get serious about it. The first two stories introduce parts of how magic and gods work, and the idea always was to alternate unconnected chapters with the journey of a more or less traditional protagonist (the one in the second story) to defeat the big bad. There is comedy to be found, but… well, I think it’s kind of its own thing, and so far, it’s a Patreon exclusive (I’ve got plans to sell them on Amazon, but I keep chickening out for the weirdest of reasons).
