Welcome to the Patreon campaign for Crushing Krisis (CK), the home to my writing and music on the web and to the web's most comprehensive guides to collecting Marvel Comics. 

I've started this campaign after 16 years of blogging to help cover CK's running costs and to expand its features in 2017. Just $31 a month will pay for hosting, so that's my first big milestone to hit. There is plenty more to achieve after that!

The focus of this campaign is to put more content on CK itself to inspire you to become its Patron. However, as part of the launch of the campaign I’m going to spend the month sharing behind-the-scenes details here on Patreon.

I hope you find some of the information interesting, whether you’re a potential Patron or another blogger trying to improve your process. My goal is to be completely transparent with you about my process, costs, and aspirations so that you feel comfortable contributing to my campaign.

That starts with tomorrow, where I’ll explain why I write comics guides in the first place. But, first, I’ll share a comprehensive Frequently Asked Questions about the campaign and a breakdown of the pledge levels in the next two posts.
