Love Esquire: Beatrice's Theme (Preview) (Patreon)

Here's a 30-second preview of Beatrice's character theme! Here's what our composer has to say about it:

My first impression of Beatrice is stern and kinda intimidating. A person who demands respect. I've decided that a marching band would accompany her militaristic "public image."

For the composition process, The foundation of the entire theme is a strict drumbeat that will persist until the end. On top of the rhythm is the trumpet leading the melody.  Even though the entire piece sounds stringent, there are still hints of tenderness in the melody. The mood of the theme will change throughout her piece from glad to angry and back, reflecting her "easily-irritated" demeanor.
