You should react to the videos of Jimin cheering for him too, so wholesome.

Yeah, this was the 2015 ISAC(Idol Star Athletics Championships). Basketball is one of the sports- they also have wrestling, archery, long jump, sprint/dash, and relay races as well as a bunch of others that switch in and out each year. They use to claim that they'd split teams up by random draw, but I think they stopped doing that in 2012 or 2013. MBC but this event out starting in 2010. This was the only event that really had idols actually competing in sports/athletic competitions with one another. There were two sports spin-offs that had some idols but it wasn't like ISAC, ISAC was a whole event and it sometimes happened only once a year, at most... twice a year. BTS didn't get to attend in 2013, but they did attend in 2014. However it was 2015 when they won gold in relay and were part of winning Gold for basketball and a few others- netting them the final gold win with other idol groups from medium sized companies and.. well one of the big 3. To make it fair- The big 3 companies that had idols who participated were usually split up- it was not often that 2 JYP groups were on the same team, or 2 YG or SM groups.. IF they participated- a lot of the time the more popular Big 3 groups would not participate. In this case- 2AM was both a JYP and Big Hit Ent. joint group- with Bighit ent being more in charge of 2am's management while both JYP and BHEnt were responsible for the music(JY Park and Bang PD wrote and produced most of the music of both 2am and 2pm) Jinwoon being a member from 2am was most of the time at BigHit with the other 2am members- Jo Kwon, Lee Chang min(who also was in this basketball comp.), and Lim Seul-ong. Fun fact, most BTS members were in the MV's of some 2am songs when they were trainees- Jo Kwon was the first to ask a BTS member to do a collab- He had JHope rap on his 2012 song- Animal, AND he had him perform it with him live (they used one of JYP's practice rooms to practice. Once done, Jo Kwon and him would ride back to BigHit Ent so Hobi could get back to work with BTS. Lee Hyun was also around when 2am were starting (they debuted in 2008, soon after Lee Hyun's co-ed group 8eight), so Jinwoon, Suga, and Lee Hyun who were on this team already knew each other pretty well. Aside from Jinwoon who was team captain and Changmin who was also part of 2am and on the Gangnam Lakers team, Lee Hyun, Suga, and Jackson wang were also on the team. There were a few others I can't remember.... I think there was another GOT7 member on the team, I'll have to look it up but- The thing that ticked a lot of ARMY off if that the media and announcers put the win on Jinwoon, who, while he did amazing he did not win the basketball or the other games by himself. Also Suga made a lot of shots each team they went against, and it really was Jinwoon and Suga mostly making the shots while Changmin, Lee Hyun and Jackson blocked and made some great passes. They each made a basket I think though- not per game, but within the whole thing. The overall team that BTS was on was called Team 'Who's the Boss' in 2015. The Team consisted of Miss A(JYP girl group), Noel(boy group from YNB ent and JYP ent, Wonder Girls(JYP's most famous girl group of any gen to be honest.), Jinwoon(from 2am, the joint venture of JYP and BigHit ent.), Changmin(from 2am), Lee Hyun(As we know he's been in two groups, started in 8eight and also was in Honne and is a soloist currently, as well as the overall big brother of every HYBE artist), Baek A-Yeon(Soloist from eden ent. she's a singer songwriter, pretty popular too), BTS(as we know), Bestie(girl group who debuted in 2013 and has disbanded in 2017), and GOT7(who were the rookies at the time) So yeah, the team was mostly JYP as you can see, or partnered with JYP. Some of us wondered if the only reason BTS actually got onto a team(there were rumors that no one knew where to place BTS, and that no one wanted BTS on their team- Take that with a grain of salt because nothing was confirmed but we didn't know what team they'd be on till right before the event. So ARMY assumed JYP actually did something good and agreed to have BTS with them.. we assumed this because while Bang and JYP don't agree on how to run their companies/treat their idols/manage idols.... J.Y. Park and Bang PD are still friends, they don't have time to hang out much, but they have kept in touch and are friendly. BTS overall in all ISAC's they've been a part of- have 3 gold medals, and one silver. Thanks for reacting to this. 💜💜💜
