The Purple Ribbon project is what you're thinking of. lol. It wasn't a team so much as a movement/event, meant to be a good example of how ARMY should behave at airports if they're going to welcome BTS, or say goodbye to them if they're leaving. However, as BTS gained more and more ARMYs it became clear to most of us that going to the airports might not be feasible anymore. And of course covid hit and no one was going anywhere, once things got a little better HYBE put out a notice that would rather not have ARMY/fans at the airports because of safety, for both ARMY/fans and BTS. This is still in effect, however there's a lot of fans who just don't give a damn and are about one 'no pants girl' shot away from being saesangs. RM losing his passport did suck. To be clear though- They had already left port when they found out about RM's papers not being able to grant him passage and stay through the country. So he did finish the cruise which took them to the other side, where they then took RM to the airport. His flight had a bit more time so he waited and the others continued on with their journey. The most likely reason for them not showing more of the cruise was because the guys most likely were not in the mood, and wanted to spend time together with cameras off. Especially RM who was most likely cursing up a storm. I wouldn't want them to do a BV in NYC, that's for sure. I'd rather them go upstate, Indigenous areas would be nice, or if they could get a res visit to one of the tribes. I think Joon and the others would love being out in nature there, and learning about another culture. Might have to keep them away from the peace pipe though lol.
