You guys were right this is siennas work!

Grace B.

Just putting it here just in case you don't see my comment on the mv but jimin has writing credits on all the songs off his album face except 1. Every song he wrote for except the interlude.

Thank you for the reaction!! JIMIN BLEW AWAY ALL OF MY EXPECTATIONS!! He’s just so amazing. I love this song so much.

RDM46

Yeah we talked about on the other reaction.. he’ll have full control of everything on this album

Anonymous

At 3:22, did you notice when he walked in the maze, and he stood up, there were 6 more walking with him? Kind of reminiscent of him walking with BTS.

This choreo is EPIC🔥🔥🔥 Not only is the song a nod to AgustD’s Set Me Free but how it incorporates Black Swan, ON, BS&T and Fake Love. Not just in terms of sound and grand performance but even the lyrics and message of the song like shadow/persona Even Lie can be referenced in the choreo. This is such a masterpiece i’ve been speechless for two days..

Thank you as always for the content and for showing love and appreciation💜 I always get so excited when you say y’all got more coming!! (hopefully So YoON and RMs Smoke Sprite https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7xTQJbkwSfs and Suchwita ep w Tablo https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=rejl6KNXbgo&t=1381s is already on the list-if not here you go lol) Another amazing reaction guys

Jimin is wrecking me so hard and he’s my MF bias. He ain’t right for the havoc he is wreaking.

Renea Tidwell

Loved your reaction. Hope you also enjoyed the mv

I am completely blown away. Far exceeds my expectation. You know when you have an idea what gift you are going to get and you open it and get way more than you expected, that’s the feeling I have.

jimin did not come to play

monse

i skimmed the comments on ur smf pt.2 reactions but idk if u saw! part 1 is technically interlude: set me free of agust d’s d-2!! this is what he said in an interview with i believe it was Consequence? “He confirms that it's a nod to a track on bandmate SUGA's second mixtape, D-2. "There isn't a connection, and we weren't trying to divide part one or part two," he explains. "But since it turns out my song talks about freedom and moving forward, and SUGA's song talks about some of the stories that come before, I thought it would be good to come after that."

monse

which is CRAZY bc jimin’s NEVERMIND tattoo on his ribs is also technically a nod to nevermind by suga that was on one of the bts albums

monse

but it’s also very convenient considering he’s promoting at the same time as twice… who’s title track is called set me free LOL like it’s good that there’s a distinction between the two

RDM46

Yeah on the original reaction Zack pulls up the info and reads it all to us lol

monse

i’m glad! sorry i missed it. i have adhd so i play ur videos (the discussion parts) in 1.5x speed while i do other things as if it were a podcast 😭

Considering how long ago I saw the picture that singing group posted saying how great it was to worked with jimin, after all that work it would really suck if he could not use his song just because someone else published their song with the same name right before you did.

2023-03-29 04:58:17 i mean, i don’t think either act would be aware of each other’s song names to start with lol set me free part 2 was always gonna be part 2 since he was making a nod to yoongi’s track. i’m sure overlap in song titles have happened before? i can’t name any though lol. even so, jimin’s track is only the pre-release single n not his title, unlike twice. just a happy coincidence <3 armyonces are having a blast

Jimin is the type of artist that can't be put in a box with one genre of music, from Promise to Set Me Free Pt2 there's nothing that sounds similar that we can say that's what Jimin sounds like, everything he does is unique, out of the box and captivating. Who else can do it like him? I don't believe on labeling him as an kpop idol because he's not. He's pure art in general, we can never guess or imagine what he will sounds like because he never brings the same thing to the table again.

Thank you for the appreciation. The man is amazing. Can't wait to hear the rest of the album.😁💜

2023-05-05 00:40:57 I mean to be fair though that's basically BTS's whole motto none of the members can be classified into one genre and all of them are versatile artists that can't be labeled as just a Kpop Idols, that's why they have the amount of fans that they do and that's why us ARMYS never classify the group as a "Kpop Group", they always push boundaries and use their creative freedom to create pieces of art. They've been this way since debut. That's why I've been enjoying Chapter 2 so much, because literally none of the BTS members Solo albums sounded what ARMYS thought they would sound like, each album took us by suprise. For example- With Jack In the Box, everyone was suspecting the same light & bright album that was similar to Hope World, but instead we got a Dark, Raw & Honest album that showcased Hobi's insecurities, hopes and desires. And mixed elements of Rock, R&B, HipHop & Pop. With Indigo, everyone expected something more lo-fi Like how Mono was, but instead we got a mixtue of genres and even got songs of Namjoon Singing. There were mellow songs, Hard HipHop songs, R&B songs, Lo-fi songs all in one album. With FACE, everyone was expecting the songs to sound similar to how Lie, Serendipity or even Filter sounded, the fact that Jimin decided to go raw and dark was shocking on top of the rap elements & the hard beats were also shocking. But then within the same album we got a soft ballad, a pop-disco song, and many more. With D-day since everyone was going off based on Agust D & D2 Yoongi's first two mixtapes, everyone was expecting Hard Rap, truth, and just overall savageness. Now while we did get those things, we also got him singing in beautiful ballads like People pt.2 & SDL and soft rap flows like in Snooze. I absoultely can't wait for JJK1, KSJ1 & KTH1. Because if Chapter 2 & these solo albums have taught us anything, is that we literally can't predict what they're solo work is going to sound like, the only thing we know for sure however is that they'll be masterpieces.
