This was everything I could ever want lol Bigbang were the first group that got me into kpop and I came across a video of Jungkook back in 2014 loving/ supporting g dragon so I supported bts and became army since that day crazy to see how far they came

I know you were joking around but I feel like people confuse the fact that bigbang paved the way for kpop (in asia) but they didn't pave the way for kpop in terms of global popularity. After all, you cannot pave the way for something you didn't achieve and no one achieved what BTS has ever achieved. bigbang has such big achievements in terms of asian popularity and asian achievements like the expansion into japan, china, and other asian countries at the time but they are very miniscule in terms of everything that BTS has done. The only person that you can say had global popularity was PSY and even he didn't achieve the things BTS has. I remember an interviewer tried to ask Rain about how he paved the way for them and he didn't agree at all. As Taeyang said "BTS achieved things bigbang never did." Anyway, I loved the reactions guys! Hope you react to more Suchwita!

I really enjoy watching Yoongi talk to his seniors (even in different industries), I feel like we don’t always get to see these other sides of him because he’s one of the oldest in BTS and in BigHit/Hybe so he’s usually the one giving advice to his hoobaes. I especially enjoyed the ep with Tablo (it interested me so much that I binged Tablo’s iHeart podcast re. this big controversy that affected not just his career but his whole life, I honestly highly recommend listening to the podcast, it’s such a harrowing story and well-produced) I know you guys are already so busy so you might not react to the Suchwita episodes with non-musicians, but the ones with Shin Dong-yeob and Lee Sung-min are so thought-provoking so I also recommend you check them out even in your own time hehe

People are very mistaken or misinformed about some of BigBang’s International reach and legacy. BigBang’s reach was not only cornered in Asia. Being the first to chart on Billboard or win at the MTV EMA’s is not an easy thing back then, especially when K-Pop was thought of as a niche genre. What I can definitely see and is a fact is that BTS have gone much further with Western achievements. BigBang’s popularity and expansion was way beyond Asia and in no way miniscule. Also must groups including BTS in terms of the culture of K-Pop is still doing the things BigBang has done already ten times over, they reshaped the Industry....World Tours, fashion, being brand ambassadors buying and investing in Art, down to having rappers in a group is BigBang’s blueprint. As Suga said BigBang practically made BTS...those were his words, no one else’s.

I enjoyed and was waiting for your reactions. Sugar was fan boying and blowing up Jimins spot. His love and respect for Taeyang was shining throughout the interview. We definitely learned a lot.
