My ultimate bias right there🥰 This song was actually first a solo track for D.O at their concert that was around the same length, but it did eventually get released as a full length duet with Yoo Young Jin. Yoo Young Jin has been at SM since the 90’s and I think he’s the main source behind all of the 90’s R&B sounds coming from SM. Just once look at his massive list of writing/producing credits and it feels like it includes probably half of the major hits from SM since the time of H.O.T. This was definitely a transition song for a long MAMA performance, but this is the only time they performed this song as a group I think. EXO has a huge amount of content out there from the past 10 years. Group work, solos from 9 different people, and even 2 subunits (EXO- CBX and EXO-SC) that you guys haven’t checked out yet. Regarding K&M, they would perform as 12 for a lot of the award shows and mvs, but they actually did travel separately to promote. K would promote as 6 in Korea, and M would promote as 6 internationally. EXO-M actually came to the US twice to perform just as 6 (KCON 2012 & for a Korean music festival at the Hollywood Bowl in 2014). They stopped later in 2014 after the first 2 members left, because it didn’t work out logistically anymore.
