Love this song. Getting a combination of some of the lyrics from this song and Tomorrow on my back soon. Love the message behind both. This is actually a hidden track on Her…you can’t download it anywhere (except SoundCloud), you have to buy the album.

I'm so glad you reacted to this song. This is very special to ARMY, mostly 2013-2014 ARMYs. This song was produced by RM and Slow Rabbit. And it was written by RM, Slow Rabbit, Suga, and J-Hope. This song was ONLY available if you have the physical album of Love Yourself: Her. RM explained in a VLive that he wrote this song in October of 2016, the original title he had for it was 'Wherever there's hope, there's a trial' Obviously it would sound better in Korean. But Sea was the final title chosen. In an Interview he was asked why it was hidden. His response was- " I think they're hidden because you have to be a real fan of BTS to understand them. Otherwise, you won't. Otherwise, you'd be like - why are they feeling so confused about things? They're good? They're number 1 somewhere, they have so much stuff, why are they worried? - People always talk about that, But if you are a true fan of BTS and you buy the album and listen to the hidden track, If you're an ARMY and we spent time together from 2013 -2014.... they could understand. It's kind of more special, more closer to our true hearts." So, for some of us, this song is very very special. Everything that happened, pre-debut and after debut, hell at debut... everything they let us know they were feeling back then. All of it poured into this song for us, letter us know they know we were there, we didn't give up just like they didn't. So yeah, a song that brings tears to my eyes personally.. but then I can smile and say it was worth it. They're still going strong and I'm still going to support them no matter what. the fact they made this a hidden track for ARMY, cant download anywhere. Speaks volumes about who they are as artists. Again, their authenticity. I always get emotional hearing this song after I learned the lyrics. It's like this melancholic lullaby that's slowly pierces your heart the moment it reaches SUGA's verse 💔

"Sea" hit in the feels, the lyrics are a testimony of their hardships and is like a trip through their beginnings, they love to work with analogies as you see guys and this video was not the exception, thank you for the reaction :)
