Love the lyrics in this

Through this song, they share that they want to stay with us and make music forever, but they know that all of this, their success, might come to an end eventually. This is the fear of every artist I guess. ARMY suprised BTS at Wembley singing this song and they all got emotional. This song means a lot to them, especially to Jimin who got "Young" & "Forever" tattooed on his arms. youtu.be/mmKW8mnsB-4

When it comes to listening to music im the same with Lo if the music is good it’s good it doesn’t matter what genre it is this is the reason why I like BTS so much. I’m actually shocked that Jerrick liked the song but Jerrick be surprising me alot like him liking make it right and boy with luv is very shocking. I really don’t mind you guys rewatching Mv that you have watched before specially Lo and Jerrick since both had a different opinion before and I really want to see Jerricks reaction over Jimin for BS&T 😂

So, this song was written by Slow Rabbit, RM, “Hitman” Bang, SUGA, and j-hope. It was produced by RM and Slow Rabbit. There are some that use to think this was produced by Suga, I personally think they thought this way because of the vibe of the song. So, to answer Lo's question- The maze... or Labyrinth was built by the studio they work with to direct/film these MV's. This was filmed at Jecheon Airfield. The labyrinth was set up on one of the runways. Since you asked about how ARMYs felt at the time- I can't speak for every ARMY, and I won't. However, I can say that personally, when this album was released, it instantly became one of my favorites. This song in particular had me tearing up a little. Conversations with fellow ARMY friends had us talking about this song and album for a while. Late 2015 was hard for a lot of people, back then it wasn't just problems as an ARMY or Problems as an international fan that made me and some ARMYs I've been close with feel something with this song. Our personal lives, things we were going through- I stopped trying to figure out how BTS always managed to do this- But every time something happened in my life, something that brought me down or had a negative impact on my life... BTS would release a song or an Album that would drown out whatever I was going through. And I am not the only one this has and continues to happen to. By mid 2016 I knew that nothing would be bad forever, because BTS would be there with music to rescue me mentally and get me motivated. At that point I started to let go of a lot of my worries and fears. Again, I wasn't the only one who felt like this, who was burdened with negative things only to always be rescued by BTS's music. It always seemed like perfect timing, or like they had some special superman hearing or Spidey sense that told them- 'okay, people are suffering right now, let's write this song and get it out as soon as possible'. But like I said, I stopped trying to figure that out. ARMYs around this time cried over this song in particular for many reasons. Personal ones, and ones that did pertain to ARMY as a whole, and to BTS. 2015 was when the shift started to happen, and it was 2016 that set a new standard. But with it... came some bad shit too of course. This song helped a lot of ARMYs, me included, get through some of those things. As we watched BTS go through some hard times again, but there was growth at that time. More ARMYs, more support, more light shone on BTS. For me, and from what I had heard and seen from other ARMYs at that time- Young Forever was a declaration. Not just from BTS to themselves, Or BTS to us... but Us to BTS, and us to fellow ARMYs- A declaration that no matter what happened next, no matter what difficult times we were going to face- We'd run through it together. For me personally... this song was needed after the shit show that was 2015. The beginning of 2016 wasn't much better, but it got better. At that time, I could only think about the crap that happened towards the end of 2015, so this song hit different levels for me. And I don't talk about this often... But I'm going to voice it because I've been arguing with myself lately over how much negative needs to be shared with newer ARMYs, I had this talk recently with an ARMY friend and they told me that while it can seem like we're just spreading negativity when we talk about these things, we're just trying to help to prevent the past from happening again. So, once the Rise of Bangtan series touches on it, or brings up the event... I'll delve into that there. For now, I'm going to go watch the other stuff you guys put out. Thank you, as usual for the amazing content. I hope everyone recovers well and stays safe. 💜💜

Agreed! I have learned to like many songs that are genres I don’t really listen to. I’ve always liked multiple genres but honestly bts has helped me discover new ones as well, especially when they recommend songs individually (:

Also, when Keith (I think it was Keith) mentioned the song sounded like a chant it reminded me of the video when ARMY at Wembley stadium sang Young Forever as a surprise gift to BTS. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong about the song. It was emotional and beautiful to watch.

laura

This song is just beautiful, I love the way rapline does the first half and vocal line does the second half. They sang this song at their PTD concert. I teared up ngl 😭 love seeing y’all react to the BU, it excites me to watch these all over again!

Thank you for this! This one is one of my favourites! Can say that is one of those songs that made me an army. Also i'm ok with you reacting at bst again but if you can react to the whole album it could be perfect. That album MUST be heard together because the songs are all solo with diff sounds and vibes but the whole album tells a story. You could do like this : one day react to the whole short films ( there is a compilation on yt) and the boys meets evil ( trailer with j hope plus underrated masterpiece) and then another day the album. OF COURSE if you can. If not is ok, i know adulting isucks

Great reaction guys. Thank you 💜

Ugh no army can watch this and not think about BTS/Army at Wembley. Good lord I have not watched that video and not cried. This song means soooooo much to BTS. Jimin even mentions later on (2018ish) that this song helped him over a dark time. He has each word tattooed over his elbows. They sang it in LA Day 2 and I of course I cried.

REECE

Can you guys please react to BTS young forever at wembley when ARMYS suprised the members

Hey Guys! I just noticed the long message I wrote is gone lol. I guess it disappeared when I edited it for the third time🤣. So I'll keep this short. Thank you for your reaction and discussions. I love seeing the growth in BTS and Redemption 46. Keep up the good work! Borahae!

ARMYnotArmy I appreciate your comments so much! Yours and Sondyenstan's comments. I learn a lot from you about the past times with BTS and ARMY.

I would love it if you guy's reacted to those videos again with a new set of eyes. This song impacted jimin alot that he even tattooed the title above both his elbows.

Came back to watch again. This song is always one that gets me so emotional. I say this all the time, but I really enjoy the conversations after every reaction. Love y'all once again :) Get well soon to all who couldn't be in the video with you all!

Young forever is such an emotional song, it hits me every time. It is not a sound I typically would gravitate to. But that is the beauty with BTS you never know when the lyrics just get you.

Anonymous

Great reaction guys!! And I hope you all could rereact to some videos in the order because I feel you would get a fresh outlook from everything but yall stay safe and healthy 🙏 💜

Rachel Lynn

"These guys are a movement" YES! THIS! BTS grabs your attention with their music/performances but their personalities/characters are what keeps you coming back for more. BTS doesn't make music just to make music. Every song is crafted with so much care, love, and respect for music.

Im a 2016 army and i am so proud of them. They went through soo much shit and they rose above it … and I hope they continue to rise and we will continue to be by their side 💜

I am a 2015 Army and it was like no other feeling honestly to see the evolution and how much hate they got and continued to get through the upcoming years especially after the HYYH era and going forward was heartbreaking to see and go through as a fellow Army but I am so proud of them for staying true to themselves, of how they grew as artist and people and how they learned to start loving themselves slowly over time after this. Also this was around the time when Army really became a big international Army with many more fans and we all banded together to protect the boys and have their backs which was a great feeling to experience but not without hardships lots and lots of hardships, it was something you had to be there to fully understand. This song in particular was like a promise or a pledge to not only BTS to themselves but to Army and vise versa as well as fellow Army basically saying we will walk with you to the end all together because we are stronger as one which is why I personally find the quote "you never walk alone" as almost a beacon for BTS and Army. I felt the HYYH era deeply as I was in my early 20's then and struggling with a lot of things, BTS always has something for everyone I have anxiety and am depressive so their music saved me tons of times over the years and still continue to do so. Don't want to get too much deeper on here but this is definitely a topic I could delve much deeper into. Borahaeee
