Thank you for all the Jin content today. Jin’s voice always conveys such emotion, I really enjoy listening to him sing. My favourite solo songs of his are Epiphany, Abyss and Moon. On a different note - another place Jin really shines is on Run BTS. It will take a while before you see it, but there are some iconic episodes where I’m either laughing or completely amazed because of him.

My favorite Jin song. He has so many amazing solo songs but this one is still #1 for me but Epiphany will always be special to me no matter how many songs he releases even in the future but this one is just a masterpiece just from the production voice and lyrics 👌🏽

I really love his voice and he's such a powerhouse vocally. I love all 4 members of the vocal line, each one has something different, and they all just fit together so perfectly. Jin's voice has always been one of my favorites overall though. I love that in listening to BTS's discography you can hear the changes and the progression. From pre-debut songs he did with RM and Suga, to this song right here- He made a lot of changes to how he performs vocally, and this song showed that despite everything said about him, he belongs in the vocal line. This song is one of favorites because I remember how shocked fans were to hear Jin sing like this. It's like when their take on Seo Teji's 'come back home' was released and ARMYs were literally arguing over who was doing the high notes at the beginning. Many said JK, and many said Jimin but then we got the live performance and those ARMYs were rocked when they saw Jin, center Jin hitting those high notes with his six brothers surrounding him. It was great, and I hope you get to watch the live performance of that eventually. Someone else mentioned this, but, Jin also released a song called 'Super Tuna' for his birthday, like... some hours ago. And it has me rolling. It's literally a song about wanting to catch a fish. lol. Which, hopefully you guys will at some point react to Bon Voyage and you'll see where Jin picks up his fishing hobby. The man is just amazing and effortlessly hilarious. And thank you guys for all the Jin content. 💜

I agree. I love the lyrics of Epiphany and how Jin sings it but Awake just hits me in my feelings. I also love the covers he did on Autumn at the Post Office and I love you. Magical!

I can't wait till you guys react to the wings album. And please please look at the shorts films(eng sub) for wings as well. You can also check out the explanation for the blood sweat and tears video it's fascinating. That album is an experience, it's based on a book called Demian. The Bangtan universe made me respect bts artistry even more!

So stoked to see your reaction to this song Nick and Curtis! This is actually my favorite solo song from Jin and I agree with yall that his range is incredible. When I first learned what the lyrics was, my respect for Jin grew even more. This song is heartbreaking. Later on, I found out from ARMY that the petals he was referring to in the song was his 6 members. He mentioned that he cannot "fly" like the petals over there and then in the 2nd stanza he said that when he was asked if he was alright, he said he's afraid but "even so, he clutched the 6 petals in his hand". With this in mind, you'll understand that the lyrics reflects his feelings as a member of BTS and he feels like he is not as great as the others but "even so, wants to struggle". So he accepts his reality and tries harder, hence the lyrics he will stretch out his hand and try to run a little more. Jin is always funny and bubbly on the outside but little did we know this internal struggle he's dealing with. And we can see how much Jin has improved over the years vocally. It's astounding. This song makes me emotional every time. So much respect for him.

Wings was THE era for BTS...and one of the many jewels that we have on the album is "Awake" and I feel on this song Jin show off his vocal quility the fullest, I feel happy and proud of his hard work...he never give up, never....he was in the past insecure about his talent in general so just hear him showing everything he got on this song makes me happy, btw guys can you please reacts to the BTS Permission to Dance on Stage L.A specially day 4?... thank you Nick and Curtis again for the reaction!

About the lyrics being related to "Lie", it's rather that they have a keyword/solo song that represent each member in the Wings album: "Begin" for JK, "Lie" for Jimin, "Stigma" for V, "First love" for Suga, "Reflection" for RM, "MAMA" for JH and finally "Awake" for Jin. They all have a deep meaning for each member. They also released a WINGS short film for these songs which are connected to the BTS universe. Wings era really hits different
