Y’all are hilarious 💀 keep it up

Tyra Pugh

the boys said their mics were on. I appreciated bts so much back then because they were so bad at lip syncing that simply did not 😂😂😂

Anonymous

They sing live all the time lol, even with the mouth piece on . Love the reaction though 💜

Anonymous

Dope ass reaction, yall singing the song was so wholesome lol. Can y’all react to Home live on KBS, I think that’s one of their best performances.

Shell Whitt

😂😂😂😂

Omfg 😂😂😂 god I love your reactions

Love the reaction and the honesty

Madison

I think House of Cards, 2!3!, Epiphany, Lie, and BS&T are my top 5 but then again I switch favorite songs like every week

Hilary Angouing

M countdown knew wtf they was doing zooming in like that💀💀💀

Lala woods

Whenever you see a kpop artist in any of those music shows like M countdown sometimes they do sing live but they can edit the backtrack to be louder so you could barely hear the artist or make them lip sync because of this I heard that they don’t even let fans record their idols cuz they can’t edit fancams. That’s why I prefer to watch concerts or sometimes award shows if I really want to hear live singing.

Lala woods

Lo I remember being disappointed cuz you didn’t like it but I respected your opinion cuz you were not rude about it but I’m glad that you’re starting to appreciate BTS songs cuz they do have a lot of good songs so I’m looking forward to seeing more BTS reactions. Please react to BTS live medley in Japan please you guys will enjoy their energy

Madison

lmao flashbacks to namjoon trying to lipsync that ONE line in 2019 MAMA

Madison

I think with a group like BTS though its hard to have a favorite song because they have over 300 including the solos and unreleased ones and they explore different genres, so maybe your into the vocal line or rap line based songs

Gladeez

YESSSS THIS !! And I’m hoping either “BTS Jump + We Are Bulletproof pt2 live” as well !!! Absolute bangers. The medley performance you suggested tho is absolutely amazing like the energy is insane although it’s just a fraction of their 3hr+ concert

Anonymous

YES Kurt is so right, they were made for a live audience 💯

Erica Phifer

It is so hard for me to pick a BTS song, but if I had to it would be just one day for me lol My fav album will always be Wings. You guys have me over here laughing hard as hell lol Love ya'll

Heidi Robles

“So what “ live performance is a must ! You can see how much fun they have during their concerts

dulseokbangtan

I saw y'all mention the Jump live perf, y'all should watch the older one with more choreo and the new one (with the gold and black outfits), its crazy seeing them then vs now doing the same song.💜

It's so funny to see how BTS grew on Lo so much. When I started to watch your reactions, I would have never imagined him being that hyped about Bangtan, singing over BS&T, saying Hyung and Borahae, planning to go to SK and call our Jimin Chim-Chim 😂😂😂

Elsa

BTS never lip-sync, but some of the music shows require louder backing track because of the acoustics of the venue (idk why, but it's what the shows have said), so that is what you sometimes hear :) There have actually been music show sheets that have gotten leaked, on which it listed who had lip-sync set up, who had backing track and who was live. There have been quite a few leaks, and every single time bts are the only ones, or one of the only ones actually live. But concerts are still the best lives you will see from them, it's where they are in their element.

dulseokbangtan

BS&T is an amazing song, but it's barely in my Top 10 when you factor in member solos, sub unit songs & features, even if we were to count only ot7 songs, it's definitely not in my Top 5. I think in all honesty it may be #9-#15 depending on how we're filtering.

It's too difficult to pick top songs personally because it would be too subjective, but from a more impartial point of view, I think some of the most iconic songs of BTS are BS&T, Mic Drop, Black Swan, Young Forever, Outro:Tear, Magic Shop, On, Baepsae, Fire and Spring Day, when you know the back story, the meaning of these songs and the impact they had by the time they where released, not to mention the cyphers.

Loved your reactions! 🤣 🤣🤣 Can completely relate though to not vibing with certain songs at the beginning. Some BTS songs were not initially to my taste, but one thing I can say with absolute certainty is that they put magic sauce in their songs … ; their songs get better and better with every re-listen or re-watch. For me at least, it's the fact that their songs are so rich and layered: First, they have a musical hook that grabs your initial attention (usually in the beat or the chorus), but then you notice the beautiful harmonies and ad-libs, and how textured and well-woven the sounds are, and the unorthodox architecture of their songs that challenges your expectations. Then you dive into the lyrics and the context (cultural or personal) and their lyricism always blows me away, especially when you realize the clever little double and triple entendres and how they play with words and also invest them with deep meaning. And of course, there's the message and the substance to what they're trying to convey, whether it's acknowledging the dark mental spaces we sometimes occupy, or asking hard questions about the nature of dreams, or delivering cheeky yet scathing social commentaries. But then there's a whole Pandora's box you unlock when you realize there are easter eggs as well: allusions to art, literature, psychology, and even an entire sci-fi narrative packed into an eclectic transmedia package. And of course, there's the dancing, which is like watching art in motion, and the intricately produced MVs. And to add that sprinkling of extra magic sauce, you notice their unparalleled stage presence and charisma … each and every one of them. It almost seems unfair that they're also just awesome humans with a heart-warming bond and a camaraderie that's addictive to watch. So yes, ... it's all about the layers. Ultimately, when you go back, you’re always bringing something new and taking away something better. That’s why it's hard for us to select a favorite BTS song. “Spring Day” is definitely up there though, presiding over all others.

Elsa

If you guys have the time, could you please react to hip-hop phile/hip-hop lover? :) The live one with lyrics. It's a song where bts pay homage to all the artists that inspired them.

Alicia

Lol! I really didn't think I'd see the day Lo was going to be so excited about BTS! 😂

dulseokbangtan

Spring Day definitely makes me cry every single time. Its so beautiful and sad.

Bts mics are always on. Regardless of if its the microphones or head piece. They use the headpiece when theres heavy choreo. There are some times when the back track is a bit loud, but they sing live, and they did sing live during this performance. So I’m not sure where you guys got the idea that when they have the headpiece the vocals are never live, but that’s absolutely incorrect. Either way, loved the reaction and cant wait to see more from you guys, especially Jimins solos.

Anonymous

It’s about time Lo!!!!! Glad you love our boys!!!!!😂

It's so nice to see Lo's (spelling) journey with BTS. Blood Sweat and Tears is definitely in my Top 5 for sure. The first song that hooked me was Dynamite... I heard it on the radio when it came out in 2020 and thought it was Maroon 5. Jungkook has that type of Adam Levine voice that does wonders. I pulled it up on the radio and saw it was BTS and thought to myself "OMG, this is the same group that sings Boy In Luv". They have such a large catalogue of music that covers so many genres. In my opinion, they have crossed the boundaries and are so much more than K-Pop. I really haven't heard a song from them that I didn't like immediately or one that didn't grow on me. I do love you all for your honest reactions so please keep it up.

H

They have a live online concert coming up on the 24th it would great to see your reaction to it 😁 I love y’all honesty please keep it up

Tre

BTS don't lip sync sir

Anonymous

Hey, I really enjoyed your reaction, can you please react to airplane part 2 live, and maybe an award show performance of bts!

Gladeez

Oh nahhh BTS mics are ALWAYS on, this is why we recommend their actual stadium tour live concerts rather than the music show performances, when they wear a head piece it’s when the coreo is too heavy for them to hold a mic it frees up their hands so they can go all out still while singing LIVE, BTS NEVER lip sync

Gladeez

Right, BTS are one of the only few groups who actually sing LIVE always, this is why they need to react to live performances from their actual stadium tour concerts, I hope they listen to us 💜

Anonymous

nah these mics were on lol

KSR Petite

what I know their mics always ON not based on the type of mic that their using, however on music show I think their doing a backtracking sound are more louder than their actual sound,,, i saw that happened to almost all of idol group or soloist on music show. Maybe because their doing a lot of rehearsal and recording for music show beforehand and the music show will choose the one that perfect in terms of camera work, choreography, etc. I dont know exactly how the music show works tho... :D so maybe next time for live performance you can show the concert or live in Japan (music show in japan is okay ) we really can hear their sound more louder in that type of performance.

Tenny

Thank you! Pls react to this next! https://youtu.be/mshv6IuyzvQ

Doyoungismyult

BTS are amazing performers and sing live. So do many many other kpop groups. Also....even if groups need backing tracks....like who cares.....they are dancing there butts off. I don't care at all and I find it weird when kpop fans start arguing about there faves in that way. It's truly not that deep. Its just a backing track or occasional lipsync if someone might be sick etc. Every single artist in the world has most likely lip synced at least once due to being sick, to hard of a dance, or just because. Anyways so many beautiful and amazing kpop groups who sing live and perform wonderfully and I can't wait for you all to be introduced to them all. :)

Lala woods

As much as I love BTS title tracks my favorite songs are mostly their Bside tracks..love is not over, home, love maze, hold me tight, let me know, like, blanket kick, moving on. Just to list a few you guys should check it out

Hilary Angouing

Btw you guys could react to exo live performances as well such the mama+monster+wolf live at Tokyo dome etc
