THEY LOVED IT... WE WILL WATCH IT AGAIN WITH THE HOST THAT MISSED IT

The BORAHAE at the start hahaha that was a cute touch 💜

Tenny

Thank you for this! Pls react to bts room live next! Thank u!

Anonymous

Really appreciated the conversation at the end! BTS are basically brothers. They're more than just a group of artists. People gravitate towards them not only because of their music, but because of their genuine relationships.

Anonymous

I wish Curtis and Nas would have watched it as well. But great reaction guys :)

Gladeez

Well guys the only cases of plagiarism I’ve been hearing of recently is with SM Entertainment, they plagiarized the beat from the song “Blue Orangeade” by TOMORROW X TOGETHER, who are under the same label as BTS, BigHit Music, they were caught weeks after that song released which is “Countdown (3, 2, 1)” by NCT DREAM, but only because they were caught they recently credited the 2 in house BigHit producers which are Slow Rabbit, and Supreme Boi. To add to it that song is on the same NCT album in which another song on there is basically a bootleg tittle of the BTS song “Life Goes On” which SM + NCT named “Life is Still Going On” which has a lot of people talking. So yes there are labels (surprisingly even one of the big 3 labels, which aren’t so big anymore hence HYBE literally being the most successful label ever over in SK) who try to replicate the success of BTS. It happens more that you think, I’ve seen so many cases, but to sum this up, HYBE has taken legal actions, because SM is blatantly copying their work which is embarrassing on their behalf as they are supposed to be one of the big 3, but that just goes to show how intimidating BTS and their label/company are, no other groups or artist at the moment can replicate even 5% of the success of BTS, as much as these companies try.

Best if all of them will go to the military all at the same time. This was a nice discussion. I hope you can react to XCeleste videos , This is BTS and This is Army.

Anonymous

Thank so much for this reaction! This is probably your BEST discussion by far. 💜💜💜 No regrets joining Patreon for you guys.

Suncedars Hul

I believe the 2 groups before 98' were H.O.T formed in 96' and Sech Kies in 97', G.O.D came out in 99' these are all bangers too.

Also just in case if you wanted a look at the members individually "An Introduction To The 7 Members Of BTS" by IDA S on youtube is your best bet just in case you want a look at the members individuality now that you know their music journey.

Really enjoyed the discussion after the video. Love how you each bring new insights into what you're watching. This was a great guide because it really gives you a sense of the scale of BTS's success. I'd like to make a case though for "From Nobodies to Legends" by xCeleste. It's the only guide that really packs that emotional punch that conveys how amazing BTS's journey to success has been. While it's not up to date, it does tell you their rags-to-riches story in a way that conveys how truly difficult it was for them to overcome some of the obstacles they had to face (in Korea and the West) and it gives you insight into why ARMY is so protective and defensive when it comes to BTS. xCeleste's "BTS Hardships" video (the 2021 update) is also a must-watch, to give context to the Cyphers and Mic Drop and many of their lyrics that lash out at their haters. Honestly, their story really is the stuff of movie magic: it's a literal David vs. Goliath epic; spanning continents; involving blood, sweat, and tears; and with a killer OST : ) I'd love to see it someday on the big screen.

You almost had the age order right! 💜 Jin 12/1992 Suga 3/1993 Jhope 2/1994 RM 9/1994 Jimin 10/1995 V 12/1995 Jk 9/1997 Great discussion after the video 👍

Lala woods

This is the first time I heard Jerick say good things about BTS. This is my first patreon video after signing up. I’m still shocked that he likes Boy with Luv out of all the BTS songs he listened to 😅

Lala woods

Jin is the oldest then Suga, Jhope,RM,Jimin,V,JK..it’s like their fan chant. RM is first cuz he is the leader.

RDM46

LOL GO WATCH MORE VIDEOS.. HE APOLOGIZED AND EVERYTHING

RDM46

IM HAPPY YOU ENJOYED IT... WE'LL BE HAVING MORE DEEP TALKS SOON... DEF WANT TO CHECK OUT MORE GUIDES AND GET IN MORE BTS CONTENT

Erica Phifer

Ayee that's what's up Lo I am learning Korean too lmaoo I made it to level three. I can understand to some extent now and read hangul. Hangul for me is the easiest part. PS Sorry for the toxic people lol I can't stand the negativity either.

Melissa Torres

This video showed more the positive side of their rise.. u should react to "from nobodies to legends" or the other vids army suggestin to show more the struggle and the hardships of them being from a small company... hybe is now worth 6x more than the big 3 combined (SM JYB YG)according to news that came out today

RDM46

YEAH WE DID THIS ONE 1ST CAUSE IT WAS THE MOST REQUESTED... "FROM NOBODIES TO LEGENDS" IS NEXT ON THE AGENDA

Lala woods

Would you guys react to Suga the guy who spits real fire? Or Jimin being petty/sassy af? Idk if you guys would be interested in that it’s just funny and you get to see their personalities

Madison

the hardships video 2021 updated by Xceleste really hit different.

Just because he was brought up, Lil Uzi vert is a Gfriend stan 😍😂 unfortunately they disbanded though.

Anonymous

Enjoyed the reaction and discussion (again) 🥰

Doyoungismyult

Im sorry but this is the funniest comment I have ever read. It’s a title of a song. It’s not that deep. Go touch some grass 🤣

Y'all, I watched this whole video in one go with the biggest smile on my face. Watching the discussion and seeing how much more informed about the group and the nuances just warms my heart. Lo is my RM46 bias. He is so open and is actually putting in the work to learn about this genre. I just have to give yall kudos. Great video. Great discussion.

Also I see what Keith is saying when he talks about whether the vocal line had a voice in the beginning. But at the same time, it's very typical for band to have only 1 or 2 members as the main songwriters and that doesnt take away from it the band as a whole or whether the message is authentic to the whole band. The rap line are more comfortable and have more experience with music production but that doesn't mean the vocal line members are just there with no input. They do have inputs in the message of the songs as well. It's just in the beginning they were not as well versed as the other members to bring it to life on their own. It wasn't until recently that they, mainly JK and V, have really gotten into music production as well. The message of group from the beginning has had at least the approval of all the members and they all stand by it.

RDM46

I AGREE AND I'LL LET HIM KNOW WHAT YOU SAID... DEF WANT TO HAVE MORE CONVOS LIKE THIS

H

Just a heads up as far as we know they actually haven’t filed for extension for the military service. They also never request and extension this rule came about when other agencies used BTS’s impact on SK that the rule came about. It just backfired on them because only bts qualifies for it. I honestly hope they all go together and come back in 18 months and destroy the industry.

Heidi Robles

I loved this video ! Sad my boy Curtis wasn’t present but I hope we can get more bts introductions , hardships , etc.

Anonymous

The feedback and aftertalk was absolutely amazing. Back then they all had built up anger in them from the way they were treated during their earlier years and even when they started getting pretty popular with tracks like I Need You and etc. RM and Suga got even more hate because of them leaving underground and becoming Kpop idols.

Jenn Diaz

By far my fav reaction, the discussion was everything. I smiled so much throughout the video. Everyone loves to hear such positive things about their favs, but for me, the reason why I enjoyed it so much is because I see that you all have grown to respect them as artists. People have different tastes in music so we don't expect everyone to love all their songs/music.....we just want respect for them. I remember the guy on the left saying more than once that BTS is way overrated. I was kind of apprehensive to see his reaction, but wow, such a pleasant surprise. To hear him vocalize how he holds them in high regards was a great feeling, I truly feel you guys do have respect for BTS, appreciating them as true artists. As far as military goes, most Army seem to hope they go all at once. Yes we'll miss them terribly, but not having Ot7 for years hurts even worse. A year goes by so fast, and with them being BTS/Hybe it means we'll be well fed as a fandom. I can only imagine how much content they'd have prepared for us. As far as impacting them as a group negatively.....no chance. We'll be streaming their albums as we always do, maybe even more because we'd be missing them😅 Plus, what a great way to show them we're still with them. No matter how they choose to handle that topic....all we can do is support their decision. As for BangPD, the man is a genius, so innovative, always stayed true to his vision and always put his trust in the guys. No company is perfect, but I really believe they couldn't have thrived anywhere else as they did with BigHit. They truly set themselves apart from other companies. If I remember correctly, I don't think they even make the trainees pay anything back as far as the costs accrued during their training/room and board. Artistic freedom was/is a priority. Also, as far as groups here in the US, i can't see it working, the training system would never stick...... people here don't like being told what to do lol, it's a completely different culture, plus the training really is rigorous. BTS put in WORK to get to where they are now. I may be wrong, just my opinion based on what I've seen being born and raised in the US. Also, shout out to the guy who mentioned Don Omar. Sorry this is so long😅

Jenn Diaz

Yesss, I agree. I'd rather "suffer" for 18 months than go without OT7 for years. You never know, the gov may decide to lessen the time 🤷🏻‍♀️. The comeback would be one for the books, that's for sure.

RDM46

LOL THIS WAS LONG BUT VERY INSIGHTFUL... I AGREE WITH EVERYTHING YOU SAID.. DEF WANT THEM TO ALL GO AT ONCE AND GET IT OUT THE WAY.. AND I ALSO APPRECIATE THE GROWTH THAT EVERYONE WENT THROUGH ON THIS CHANNEL... THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING...

Anonymous

I'm gonna pop in real and comment on what yall said earlier.. You mentioned that you feel as though current kpop groups aren't copying BTS and imma just say that NCT actually just caught and sued by HYPE ent. BTS company because they stole some of their tracks and music lyrics, Also a lot of kpop groups actively "copy" or use bts comeback themes and outfits after bts. I try not to be biased when it comes to those things but if you actually research some other groups you can tell it's really evident in the way they try to market themselves. It's actually funny, SM even conducted a whole research team to study BTS and their success. SuperM was also created to try to beat BTS in the western market. If you look at some other guides you will also see how other companies actively try to sabotage BTS with false accusations. Just something to look into...

keiran

Can u guys please pause if your gonna talk very loud

keiran

That was rude..😞

RDM46

LOL SORRY JUST WAS BEING HONEST... WE'LL TRY TO KEEP THE COMMENTARY DOWN A LITTLE

keiran

It’s fine 😅

I've been watching a lot of reactors for the past year, been thinking back and forth if I should sub to patreon everytime and just want to let you know that you are the only reactors that got me to subscribe here! Crazy! But just a suggestion, as much as I loved this documentary, ya'll should watch BTS From Nobodies to Legends by xCeleste in yt. This documentary didn't even mention why and how ARMY is protective of BTS. It comes into full circle when you know what they've gone through and how they literally fought the industry for their music to be heard. Looking forward to your reaction to it and The Rise of Bangtan series in yt (it contains some short clips of their early vlogs showing rapline making music and their sentiments). Love your honest opinions and reactions. Keep going and stay gold!

RDM46

THANK YOU FOR MAKING THAT JUMP TO PATREON.. STAY TUNED, A LOT OF THINGS YOU MENTIONED WILL BE ON HERE SOON...

Anonymous

It was Jason Derulo's first hit since like 2011

Haru

Just finished the whole reaction video. I appreciate the time and effort for you guys to react and share your thoughts on not just their journey to where they are now, but also their genre, how artists are boxed into their genres/niche, and the military. I read from somewhere in the bird app, that a SK financial analyst actually did predict that BTS might be going together in military. It is possible as how efficient and jumpacked their scheds are in making content. They'd be shooting content that will be released like 6-12mos from release date.

RDM46

THANK YOU... MY FRIENDS ONLY BEEN IN THE MIX A LITTLE OVER 2 MONTHS AND HAVE LEARNED SO MUCH... WE'RE JUST GETTING STARTED

Anonymous

even when the guys have all those amazing achievements and keep having more was not easy and still is not...they have to deal with racism, xenophoby, hate etc so this is why they are also really thankful and humble for everything they have so far, BTS are humble kings, thanks guys for the nice and open minded reaction!

Kat D.

I almost did a spit take when y’all brought up dynamic duo, I NEVER would have expected them to be mentioned lol I agree though, good music is good music. If you turned your music on shuffle mode and the first 10 songs were all different languages and all different genres…who cares…as long as they resonate with you you’ll be bumpin to every single one

RDM46

Yeah Lo loves them lol.. and I agree, if it’s fire it’s fire

Oleksandra Yakubenko

Papa roach, Sum41, Evanescence? Omg these were my jams in my 19-20s 😆 I grew on alternative music and here and there some Eminem, so I fell for rapline first, cause their rap was natural and legit unlike other kpop i heard before. Their music has so many changes within single track and genre changes that i was overwhelmed that one artist can do all them equally good

Oleksandra Yakubenko

I can't agree with "other groups don't copy them" - oh, they do, just recently some tried to make another Dynamite and even music video was such a blatant poor copy it was laughable. People copy everything from style to even going to their producers and asking "same vibe songs". JK commented on their ON video on dron camera trick: oh, don't worry about others knowing about this trick, we don't do them twice anyway" - meaning that he knows everyone watching what they are doing to copy somehow
