First, some business stuff! I've released v0.8.2 along with the modding resources for v0.8! You can find all of that over on the original release post (here!). That should resolve all of the bugs that have been reported, and it all should be save compatible.

With the release of v0.8 I was inspired to do this little comic for how I feel every release. No matter how much testing I think I've done I always end up fucked by some new bugs. And yes, of course I code and draw everything completely naked while bent 90 degrees at the waist. Doesn't everyone do that?

Now onto my plans for v0.9. Over the last couple of weeks I've noticed a whole bunch of small issues in the code base for AFVH that I want to address. For v0.9 I'm going to be going around and tidying up absolutely everything that I can! I'm calling it a tidy up-date, because I'm very clever.

I've got a few topics on the top of my TODO list. First up will be refactoring my huge "general_classes" file into separate files with clear focuses. That will make it easier for me to make code updates AND make it easier for modders to read through and parse what bits of code handle what functionality. Related to that, I've had a thought for how events can be reimplemented to make it easier to mod in events without overwriting existing content, so I'll be taking a crack at that.

On the art side and content side: Busty still needs to have her model rigged and animated, so I want to get that done. The new frame added in v0.8 is much more flexible than the current limited events show off, I'll try to write some new higher corruption events that make full use of it. Finally, the existing chores could all use a sprinkling of early game lewd-ness to give you some tools to build up Arousal when it's needed to trigger events.
