A news about the release. (Patreon)

We have a news about the dlsite release. It will be delayed again. The new release is most likely on 17-18th, but I am not 100% sure at the moment. I understand people will be upset, but please allow me to explain what had happened.

Dlsite accepted our build this afternoon and they sent me an email that the build is accepted and everything is working alright. After dinner, I checked the product management page again and shockingly the release date info is gone(It still says 1.17 this afternoon). I checked the status of the product and it said "wait to be release", which looks also alright but I was very confused why the release date info was gone.

I sent my email to DLsite for further explanation. After a few hours, they replied to me that because we updated our store page localizations, they need to postpone the release date🤯 However, they did not ask for my consent on the delaying nor informing me at all until I send the messages to ask them about the changes.

They said there's something to do with their foreigner department and they will contact me shortly. After seeing this, I was freeze at first and then I sent them emails asking if we could release the product anyway at 17th and just dont care about the store page localization first. Since now it is already 10p.m. in japan, I assume they won't give any reply, until tomorrow morning. Since dlsite is our major marketplace for now and we are syncing the release date of dlsite and patreon, patreon release is also delayed. The issue is unexpected, and we are sorry about that. We will try best to release the product asap.

For those who wanna know further about the issue, I will provide some background information about the store page localizations. Store page localization means to set up the store page descriptions in different lanaguges so people from different language background will have no problem in reading them. Usually to achieve such a feature, all we need is just to upload different language descriptions. In dlsite, which is a bit weird, developers need to register different product for different lanaguges and dlsite will link them together. I uploaded a Chinese version this morning and I thought since they are two seperate thing it will not affect the release date of the japanese version. Well at least we could launch the japanese page first and leave the rest later. However, DLsite is not working as we expected and delayed our release.
