Wings is on of my favourite albums of all time. I'm so excited, I wanna give you a bunch of nerdy unwanted recommendations about performances, dance practices etc. :D 1) So, "Boy Meets Evil" has an awesome dance performance MV. 2)Every solo song has an artistic short film - defenitely worth checking out. I'd also recommend you to watch the live versions of the solo songs that you haven't seen yet. These "First love" and "MAMA" are a must in my opinion: -"MAMA" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nl1upMZA2A&ab_channel=pepanook) always makes me cry -First Love (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMr_cZFhECY&ab_channel=EnjoyBTSmore) (Yes, First Love is about Suga's relationship with piano and music) 3)Cyphers are always awesome live (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhXokbbS1Ac&ab_channel=Queen) 4) As for dance practices, there're "Am I Wrong" and "21st Century Girl (Halloween ver. is hilarious) and I'd add there "GoGo" dance practice in costumes - you gonna love it, I promise! 5) And here's a beautiful 2!3 live (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZyFo_xrsyk&ab_channel=Lajibolala-Biella-) I hope you'll check some of them, even if it's not on camera. It's gonna worth it~

For Interlude: Wings, there's an extended version

Okay so you've got to check out the solos live but ESPECIALLY "Mama." The stage performance is just so special. I've seen it a million times and I still get goosebumps every time. It was the moment I think we all we understood what a showman Hoseok is. It's a fan favorite for good reason. Boy Meets Evil also has a dance performance MV that's definitely worth watching too. And Wings has a longer version that is also so so good live. It's a really symbolic song for ARMY and the boys and ARMY reference it all the time so it's good to have that too.

Belony

yes Suga was talking about piano in first love.

Ana

In first love, the piano represents music itself.

I've been listening to this album on a loop in my car for the past 3 weeks lol. I seriously love it.

Also, Jungkook isn't in Boy Meets Evil. I have no idea where that came from because never once has anyone on BigHit's team or in BTS said that and the credits list Hobi and Hobi alone and Big Hit is good about crediting background vocals. Hobi's falsetto sounds a lot like Jungkook's and there have been many times we've heard a clip of his high notes and attributed them to Jungkook before being proven wrong. There used to be a lyric video going around that credited Jungkook with the whole vocal part in BME. People just sleep on Hobi's vocals and don't believe it's him so they say "it must be Jungkook" without any support for that. Hobi performs it live alone, no one has ever mentioned JK working on BME, and he's not in the credits. It's just Hobi. Sorry if it seems like I'm ranting. It's one of those misinformation things that pops up every once in a while and people say things like "I knew it couldn't be Hobi!" and it grinds my gears like nothing else does. Oof. So anyway, I was just setting the record straight. :)

Yeah, Jin's lack of lines in BS&T is a bummer. Not Today is similar with just like one small part. And in Spring Day, Hobi doesn't have a single line. Not one. Which is a bummer because it's like THEE BTS song that will be remembered in 100 years. In the live version they gave him half of Hobi's and half of Jin's but in the studio version, he just does sub-vocals on Jin's parts. Wild. I get that with 7 people, not everyone is going to have equal line time and for the most part, I'm fine with it. But I'm 2Seok biased so I just want to hear them more because I love what they bring so I think it's fair to be a little bummed when they're just missing or have 5-7 seconds of time. :/

Beth

They have continuously said they themselves choose who sings what parts based on who they feel suits or matches the lines best (Seokjin even said during Japanese fan club interview that each member has a distinct voice so depending on the style and who has the best vibe said member is chosen), and i know for a fact if any of the boys had a problem with it they would speak up.

SNBangtan

They've also said at one point they all try parts and Bang PD (or the PD on the song) chooses who sings it. I'm not crucifying their creative decisions. But it's unfortunate that Jin, Suga, and j-hope just "don't fit right" on so many of their title tracks and that so many ARMYs are content to parrot that back like that's the only factor and it makes perfect sense. "Hobi just wasn't right for Spring Day." I'm not sitting here making demands or sending trucks or starting hashtags. I get that it's a creative decision. But, as an OT7 ARMY, I'm allowed to say I'd like to hear more Hobi, Suga, and Jin on some songs. Sue me.

Hi RJ, I hope you check out Begin live the choreo is so intense and JK is singing it live. Like how do you do that? https://youtu.be/6TW4F4Vcq6s I actually suggest you watch all of their lives because there all really good and had completely different sets, but I'm not sure which one to add the links for💜

Joanna

I believe the song is called "2!3!" to also reference their official greeting. RM yells out "2!3!" before they introduce themselves in unison "bang!tan! hello we are BTS." Great reaction as always - thank you!

Ava Foreman

I don’t think you’ve checked out the first 3 cyphers yet? Definitely check those out… :)

There are some videos on YouTube of the Wings Tour, and I remember watching a video of "Reflection" being performed live. During that performance, Army changed the fan chant. In the part where Namjoon says, "I wish I could love myself," Army answered with "We love you!" It's incredible to think that a few years later, Nam was primarily the mastermind behind the Love Yourself era. It brings happy tears to my eyes.
