She told him to use two hands to pour because it how a younger person serves a drink to an elder in their culture. Even with very mundane things like accepting a receipt or item from a stranger or elder you would use two handle to be respectful. That’s why she was allowed to use one hand to pour his drink 😊

Ahh I actually started watching more BLs this year and this one I watched when it came out because people said their chemistry was the best even before the show came out and I will say it is such a good show. The pouring a drink with two hands and turning to the side when you drink are both Korean drinking ‘rules’(for lack of better terms) that the younger person follows when they drink with someone older, it’s a sign of respect. So when she told him to drink facing her, she was treating them as equals despite their age/position difference, but she snapped at him for being causal with pouring her drink. I think their dynamic is so cute haha.
